Thomas Chabot grabs an assist in defeat of Red Wings

Thomas Chabot assisted on the goal that opened the scoring in Ottawa's 4-3 win over Detroit on Tuesday. He had a +2 rating with one shot on goal across 21:23 on the ice.

Fantasy Impact:

Chabot's offensive production has levelled out a bit. He recorded one goals and seven assists in the first 10 games of the season but has posted four assists in his most recent 11 games. All in, he's at 12 points in 21 games, but that's still about a 47-point pace - certainly nothing to sneeze at. Chabot continues to earn ice-time in all situations, receiving the third-most in the NHL so far (25:22). He has now posted an assist in back-to-back games, so maybe his downswing is coming to an end; he's always a worthwhile fantasy play while continuing to receive the opportunity that he does.
