I’ve been playing online for the last 8 years. I’ve used CBSsportsline, yahoo, & espn in multiple leagues for multiple years. I believe ESPN’s is the best for stat tracking purposes, information available, and continually improving iteslf.
I have been LM for an ESPN league for 3 years (and played in one the year before that) and ESPN is continually improving the product. Most of the information available is free, although if you are an ESPN Insider you get additional benefits. You can go plain vanilla or customize to suit.
I do feel that the new-look League Home Page is not as friendly as previous years. Overall I love it for its flexibility, ease of use and power of its tools.
Forgot to rate – sorry, guys.
One up front disclosure – I’ve played in a Yahoo league for like the last 5 years. I guess I’m just totally used to their tools. Last year I played in my first non-Yahoo league and it was a horrible experience. I just felt like a lost child when trying to figure out how to do the most simple tasks like adding/dropping players. I honestly was thinking about giving 1 or 2 stars, but since I’m sure my brain-washing from 5 years of using the same tool had to do a lot with my frustration. And, ESPN does have a few cool things that I thought were better than Yahoo’s…like their version of stat tracker. Still I’m going back to my security blanket at Yahoo…their fantasy site is just super simple to use. And I like simple!
