Mock Draft Central is a pretty good site to practice mock drafts. It has all of the functionality that you would want in addition to a slick user interface that makes monitoring your mock drafts simple.
One of the cool features of the site is that there is a rewards/penalty system in place to encourage good behavior and to penalize negative user actions (e.g. missing drafts, bad conduct, etc). My experience is that this helps to foster a friendly environment of fantasy players who are serious about participating in the mock draft process.
One downside is that the site is not always as active as some of the other options like Fantasy Football Calculator, ESPN, CBS, etc. This can mean that you have to wait a few extra minutes to find a room to get started. Another downside is that most other sites offer unlimited access to their mock drafts. Mock Draft Central limits free participation in mock drafts to a maximum of once per day and 3 times per week. For unlimited draft participation, you need to become a premium member (only $3.99 per month).
So, I would recommend checking out Mock Draft Central since it has some cool stuff to offer that makes for a good mock draft experience. However, if you’re strictly looking for a service that gives you unlimited access to free drafts then you’re probably better off choosing a service like Fantasy Football Calculator.
