If there’s one thing fantasy owners have come to expect, it’s uncertainty. It can come in the form of Roy Helu rushing for as many TDs (3) in a single week as the NFL’s leading rusher (LeSean McCoy) has for the season. Or it can be in the form of a woeful Nick Foles stat line that only 7 QBs in the history of the NFL have ever “achieved”. That’s a week after Foles was the NFC’s Player of the Week, no less.
As you might imagine, performances like those certainly gave the experts opportunities to either hit it big or crash and burn with their week 7 picks. So which experts nailed their predictions? Below are the week’s top 10 accuracy leaders (out of 131 experts). You can also view the Yearly Standings here.

It was a nice job by Brian Flood (Sports Illustrated) to deliver week 7’s best advice. Flood’s best predictions came at the WR position, where he rated behind just 1 expert. Included in Flood’s WR hits was a decision to rank Eddie Royal 34 spots ahead of the Expert Consensus (above all experts). Royal came through for fantasy owners by posting top 15 numbers for the first time since week 2. Flood also gets credit for showing some faith in both Harry Douglas and Jarrett Boykin. Each player had career games on Sunday and Flood was higher than the consensus on both. Of course, it also helps to have a read on the players that are set to disappoint fantasy owners. Flood took a firm stance with his QB #15 ranking of Nick Foles. It was a clear indication that he believed the Eagles’ signal caller was bench material in week 7. That was terrific advice given that only 1 starting QB (Josh Freeman) failed to out-score Foles on the week. Flood also had one of the lowest rankings for C.J. Spiller (his RB #30). Spiller certainly lived down to that rating by tallying just 7 total yards on Sunday.
