With more and more fantasy owners opting to wait on the quarterback and tight end positions in drafts, streaming each position has become a viable option. This is made easier by the fact that there are usually solid options on the waiver wire. Each week this column will scour the waiver wire and look for quarterbacks and tight ends who are less than 50% owned and could be worth starting for your fantasy team. All ownership percentages come from Yahoo fantasy leagues.

Quarterback
Andy Dalton – Cincinnati Bengals (29% owned)
@ Baltimore Ravens
The notoriously streaky Dalton has begun the season on a hot streak, throwing for 483 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions through two games. He has benefited from having both A.J. Green and Tyler Eifert fully healthy to start the year, as three of his touchdowns have gone to those two. The Ravens pass defense has looked suspect to begin the season as they just allowed Derek Carr to shred them for 351 yards and three touchdowns. Look for Dalton to continue his success in what is an important divisional game for the Bengals.
Tyrod Taylor – Buffalo Bills (14% owned)
@ Miami Dolphins
Taylor almost led the Bills to a surprise victory over the Patriots in Week 2 in what became an offensive shootout. In the end, Buffalo fell just short as they lost 40-32. Taylor didn’t have a great real-life game as he threw for three touchdowns, three interceptions, and rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown. Despite the interceptions, Taylor still put up a solid fantasy game thanks to his rushing skills. The rushing skills are going to buoy Taylor’s fantasy value and allow him to overcome a few turnovers from time to time. The Dolphins defense has been disappointing so far and may not be as tough of a matchup as it would appear at first glance.
Tight End
Ladarius Green – San Diego Chargers (49% owned)
@ Minnesota Vikings
Green continues to impress in his chance to start while Antonio Gates is suspended. He tied for the team lead in targets in Week 2 with six. He was able to catch five of those chances for 47 yards. He is sure to be a popular waiver add this week, so this will likely be the last week that he will be widely unowned in leagues. Considering that he’s shown TE1 upside so far, there’s a chance if he continues to play well that he will force the Chargers to keep him on the field, even when Gates returns.
Eric Ebron – Detroit Lions (16% owned)
vs. Denver Broncos
Ebron is putting his elite size and athleticism to good use so far, piling up nine catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns over his first two games. He has shown improvement from his rookie season and is emerging as a third option in the passing game after Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. The Lions should have a tough time running the ball against the Broncos’ defense, leading to many passing attempts for Matthew Stafford. Ebron is shaping up as a low-end TE1 going forward.
