There are seven games on tap tonight, with three projected to eclipse the 200-point mark, and two more that could easily amass that combined total as well.
I mention this (continuously) because you will find it extremely difficult to be successful in daily fantasy if you are constantly putting stock into the type of contests that finish 87-83. Sure there are points to be had in any game, but obviously not as much.
Another area of concentration that should prove advantageous tonight will be player match-ups. And there are a few we are salivating over.
Keep in mind that tonight is the kind of slate that you honestly could take a more balanced approach. Though, if the right studs hit their projected value, your opponents will be using combined scores to match only one of your spots.

PG – Stephen Curry – $11,000
When Curry is available to play, he is a must-start. When he is playing at home, he should be considered as a you-better-start!
PG – Dennis Schroder – $4,800
With Jeff Teague out, Schroder is sure to get all the minutes his legs can handle against a Nets’ team serving up over 42 fantasy points per game to opposing point guards.
SG – Will Barton – $5,000
Barton has recently seen his minutes increase and has exploded onto the daily fantasy basketball radar of many savvy owners. In three out of the last five contests, he has scored over 35 fantasy points, and with New Orleans allowing an average of 37 (FDP) each game, this would appear to be a prime spot for a chance to incur 6x’s the value on the asking price.
SG – Eric Gordon – $6,000
On the opposite end of the floor, we have a team in the Denver Nuggets who certainly do not put defense high atop the priority list. When you factor in the 204.5 projected total, Gordon appears to be a pretty safe bet to hit 30 fantasy points.
SF – Jared Dudley – $3,500
What seems like a complete fish in order to fit other players into this lineup actually holds merit. Dudley usually does show up against teams he formerly played for, not to mention he can see about 20 minutes off the bench. If he can average a fantasy point per minute, this could be a productive punt at the small forward position.
SF – Otto Porter – $5,500
Porter is having a fantastic start to this season even with Bradley Beal on the court. So it makes perfect sense to get Otto in there when the second scoring option is dealing with an injured shoulder, and could miss his third game in a row.
PF- Kristaps Porzingis– $5,400
Porzingis has been struggling from the field lately, and I am hoping that diminishes his ownership with those who only take into account previous performances. It’s hard to envision the Charlotte frontcourt making too much of an attempt to cover Kristaps outside the paint, and especially not from behind the arc.
PF – Anthony Davis – $10,900
Hard to admit, but “brow” has not consistently produced the kind of fantasy goodness that makes him a staple in lineups every contest. This will not be the case tonight!
C – Al Horford – $7,800
Horford absolutely dominated the Nets last time the teams met on November 4, scoring 21 points, with eight rebounds, four assists, and two blocks, in only 30 minutes on the court. The Nets are giving up 43 FanDuel points per game, and a shade under that is right around where Al should be tonight.
