Welcome to Week 15 of the NFL season. Even though the NFL season is winding down, there are still plenty of available contests on Draftpot. We once again have a lot of great matchups to analyze this week. Let’s go ahead and jump right into my Week 15 Draftpot Fan Mode recommendations.

TOURNAMENT LINEUP

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford (DET) – at NO
I whiffed last week when I suggested Jameis Winston against the Saints. However, I’m going right back to attacking the Saints’ defense. The Lions currently have a pass-to-run ratio of 1.88, which is the highest in the league.

Running Back

Adrian Peterson (MIN) – at JAC
Adrian Peterson has been running great this season, averaging 4.7 yards per carry and scoring a total of six touchdowns in the past six games. In 13 games against the Bears in his career, Peterson has averaged 5.03 yards per carry.

LeSean McCoy (PHI) – at WAS
LeSean McCoy has now gained at least 100 yards in seven straight games. This week he has a decent matchup against the Redskins, who have given up 104.7 rushing yards per game this season.

Wide Receiver

Julio Jones (ATL) – at JAC
The law of averages says that Julio Jones should be due for a touchdown (or two) any week now since he has not scored a touchdown since Week 8. I believe that the Falcons turn things around this week in a decent matchup against the Jaguars, who have struggled against wide receivers lately.

Odell Beckham (NYG) – vs. CAR
Most people will probably be scared to use Odell Beckham against the Panthers, which means he is a great tournament option. Beat writers have said this week that the Giants will experiment with Beckham lining up in the slot. If this occurs, he will see less of Josh Norman, since Norman does not line up on slot receivers.

Calvin Johnson (NE) – at NO
Calvin Johnson has a great matchup against a terrible Saints’ secondary. He will likely see a lot of Brandon Browner, who is the 118th ranked defensive back this season by Pro Football Focus.

Tight End

Jordan Reed (WAS) – vs. BUF
With most people likely using Rob Gronkowski and Greg Olsen, Jordan Reed makes for a sneaky play. Reed currently leads the Redskins in targets, receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns this season.

Flex

Alshon Jeffery (CHI) at MIN
Alshon Jeffery has seen at least nine targets and has had at least 85 receiving yards in each of the last three games. This week he has a decent matchup against the Vikings, who he torched for 10 receptions, 116 yards and a touchdown in Week 8.

Jeremy Hill (CIN) at SF
This could be a sneaky tournament play that separates you from the rest of the pack. With Andy Dalton and Tyler Eifert both out this week, the Bengals will try to lean on Jeremy Hill against the 49ers, who have allowed the most Draftpot points to running backs this season.

Defense/Special Teams

New England Patriots vs. TEN
The Patriots’ defense has recorded the second-most sacks this season and the Titans’ offense has given up the second most sacks.

Kicker

Chandler Catanzaro (ARI) – at PHI
Chandler Catanzaro has been great this season and the Cardinals are expected to score a ton of points against an awful Eagles’ defense.

Cash Lineup

Quarterback

Russell Wilson (SEA) – vs. CLE
Russell Wilson has been on fire lately, throwing a total of 16 touchdowns in the last four games. This week he has another great matchup against the Browns, who struggle against the pass.

Running Back

DeVonta Freeman (ATL) – at JAC
DeVonta Freeman’s production on the ground has decreased over the last few weeks. However, he still remains heavily involved in the passing game, thus having a high floor on PPR sites like Draftpot.

Adrian Peterson (MIN) – vs. CHI
Adrian Peterson has been playing great lately, scoring a total of six touchdowns in the last six games. This week he has a good matchup against the Bears, who have struggled to contain Peterson in his career.

Wide Receiver

Julio Jones (ATL) – at JAC
Julio Jones hasn’t scored since Week 8. However, he has a good matchup against the Jaguars this week, who have given up 100 yards to two different receivers in the past two games.

Alshon Jeffery (CHI) – at MIN
With the Bears’ receiving options depleted, Jeffery is a lock for at least 10 targets and close to 100 yards. In Week 8 Jeffery shredded the Vikings for eight receptions, 147 yards and a touchdown.

DeAndre Hopkins (HOU) – at IND
DeAndre Hopkins had a quiet game last week against the Patriots. He should be able to bounce back this week against the Colts, who have allowed the third-most Draftpot points to wide receivers this year.

Tight End

Rob Gronkowski (NE) – vs. TEN
Rob Gronkowski has scored a touchdown in each of the past two games that he has played. He also has a great matchup against the Titans who have given up 28 passing touchdowns this season.

Flex

Calvin Johnson (DET) – at NO
Calvin Johnson will be going up against one of the worst cornerbacks in the league and Vegas currently has this as the highest scoring game this week.

A.J. Green (CIN) – at SF
A.J. McCarron is a young and inexperienced quarterback. With Tyler Eifert already ruled out, look for McCarron to lean on A.J. Green heavily in an excellent matchup against the 49ers.

Defense/Special Teams

Seattle Seahawks vs. CLE
The Seahawks are hosting the Browns? Sign me up. The Browns have allowed the second most Draftpot points to opposing defenses this season and the Seahawks have only given up a total of 13 points in the last two games.

Kicker

Stephen Gostkowski (NE) vs. TEN
Stephen Gostkowski is one of the most accurate kickers in the NFL and he plays for one of the best offenses in the league. He should once again have plenty of opportunities to score some points this week.
