DraftKings NHL Lineup Advice: Saturday (3/12)
Jonathan_Quick_Kings

Jonathan Quick is the top goalie play of the slate.

Tonight there are nine games and this is the point in the season where you have to pay attention to the standings as several teams fight for every point in an effort to make a playoff push. I also found some players on hot streaks this week that we should use in our NHL DFS lineups.

Teams that I like this week for you to build your lineups around include Los Angeles, Montreal, Florida, Ottawa, San Jose and Washington.

Center

Alex Galchenyuk (MON) : $5,100 vs. MIN

Galchenyuk is one of the hottest players right now with six goals and 26 fantasy points in his last three games. Overall he has 25 goals in 68 games.

Jeff Carter (LA) : $6,000 vs. NJ

Carter has three goals in his last two games for a total of 19.5 fantasy points in that span. He has had a nice season with 18 goals and an average of 3.6 fantasy points in 61 games.

Wing

Max Pacioretty (MON) : $7,100 vs. NJ

With Alex Galchenyuk secure in my lineup tonight, Pacioretty makes a nice pairing with him and a three-game point streak, of his own good, for 20 fantasy points. He has 24 goals this season for an average of four fantasy points a game.

Jonathan Huberdeau (FLA) : $5,500 vs. PHI

In his last two games, Huberdeau has a goal and three assists for a total of 13 fantasy points. He has a good price for a top line winger and should see around 20 minutes of ice time again tonight.

Milan Lucic (LA) : $4,800 vs. NJ

Lucic is my selection to pair with Jeff Carter as the Kings are at the end of a five-game homestand. Lucic has two goals and four assists in his last four games for a total of 18 fantasy points.

Defense

Aaron Ekblad (FLA) : $5,000 vs. PHI

Ekblad is always a solid play as the Panthers push for the top spot in the Atlantic Division. In his last three games, he has two goals and nine shots on goal for a total of 11.5 fantasy points.

Kris Russell (DAL) : $4,600 vs. STL

Russell was recently  acquired from Calgary and with injuries to several key Stars, found himself on the top defense pairing last night in a win against Chicago. He played over 27 minutes and produced a shot on goal and five blocked shots good for three fantasy points. He should see plenty of ice time tonight against St. Louis including time on the power play.

Goalie

Jonathan Quick (LA) : $8,400 vs. NJ

Quick has a good matchup tonight at home against the Devils who are on a three-game road trip and scheduled to start backup goalie Keith Kincaid. Quick has won three of his last four starts and the Kings are in a dogfight with the Anaheim Ducks for the top spot in the Pacific with only one point separating them.

Utility

Sam Gagner (PHI) : $3,300 @ FLA

Gagner is my value play tonight and he has scored two goals in his last three games. He plays close to 15 minutes a game and will likely be on the second line and power play unit.

Make sure to double check lineups and particularly the starting goalies prior to the first puck drop as they can be subject to change.
