Each week this column will scour the waiver wire and look for pitchers who are less than 30% owned and could be useful streamers for your fantasy team. All ownership percentages come from Yahoo.

Please note the probable pitcher matchups could change throughout the week due to rainouts or other circumstances, so be sure to check back before picking up and starting one of these recommendations. All ownership percentages and statistics are current as of Friday, July 15.

Sunday, July 17
Zach Davies (MIL) @ Cincinnati Reds
(Ownership: 23%)

Davies has been extremely impressive in his first full big league season. The young right-hander has a 6-4 record with a 4.10 ERA and 71 strikeouts over 85.2 innings of work. He shouldn’t have much trouble on Sunday with a Reds’ lineup that is ranked just 26th in the league in batting average and 28th in wOBA.

Monday, July 18
Brandon Finnegan (CIN) vs. Atlanta Braves
(Ownership: 10%)

Finnegan has shown flashes of being a great big league pitcher, but he has struggled with his command with 53 walks in 101.1 innings of work. The Braves’ offense has improved some in recent weeks, but they are still one of the top matchups for left-handed pitchers.

On the year, Atlanta is ranked 29th in wOBA, 30th in ISO and 26th in batting average. The Braves also rank 27th in the league in walk rate against southpaws, which may help Finnegan keep his free passes down.

Tuesday, July 19
Cody Reed (CIN) vs. Atlanta Braves
(Ownership: 6%)

Reed is a strong play much for the same reasons that his teammate Finnegan is on the streaming radar. Reed is Cincinnati’s top pitching prospect, and although he has yet to turn in a dominant performance in the majors, he is striking out over a batter per nine innings. He has struggled with his command over the early parts of his career, but the matchup is too good to pass on today.

Wednesday, July 20
Hyun-Jin Ryu (LAD) @ Washington Nationals
(Ownership: 29%)

There’s a chance Ryu is already stashed in your league as he was a solid pitcher for the Dodgers before missing all of the 2015 season with shoulder surgery. He doesn’t get an easy matchup with the Nationals, but he is a pitcher with a proven track record and should perform better than he did in his season debut last Thursday. This is a risky stream based on Washington’s excellent offensive numbers against southpaws, however.

Thursday, July 21
Tom Koehler (MIA) @ Philadelphia Phillies
(Ownership: 9%)

Koehler’s stats won’t blow anyone away as he checks in with a 4.50 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 96 innings of work. The reason he is on the streaming radar for Thursday is because he gets a great matchup with a Phillies’ offense that has not been very effective this season. On the year, the Phillies are ranked 25th in wOBA, 16th in ISO and 24th in batting average when facing right-handed pitching.

Friday, July 22
Dylan Bundy (BAL) vs. Cleveland Indians
(Ownership: 9%)

Bundy was once one of Baltimore’s top pitching prospects before his career was slowed by injuries. The Orioles had been using the right-hander out of the bullpen thus far this season, but he is now set to make his second start of the year.

He has been striking out major league hitters at an excellent rate on the year, ringing up 32 over 38 innings of work. The Indians have a strong offense against right-handed pitching, but Bundy is worth taking a chance on for Friday.

Saturday, July 23
Archie Bradley (ARI) @ Cincinnati Reds
(Ownership: 17%)

Bradley finished up the first half on a high note, posting a quality start against the Giants while striking out six. He has a good deal of strikeout upside, whiffing 66 batters over 64 innings. The Reds, as mentioned above in the Davies blurb, do not have a strong offense against right-handed pitching.
