DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice: Wednesday (11/30)
John Wall

John Wall and the Wizards will see an increase in pace tonight against the Thunder

We have a solid slate to work with on Wednesday, as eight of the 10 contests have spreads of less than nine points. Rest also shouldn’t be much of an issue, as only the Lakers, Pistons and Spurs played last night. With that in mind, let’s take a look at a lineup for DraftKings.

Point Guard

Andrew Harrison (MEM): $4,000 @ TOR
With Mike Conley on the shelf for the next several weeks, Harrison and Wade Baldwin figure to absorb most of the minutes going forward. Harrison is a good bet to play at least 30 minutes on most nights, and he should have more involvement offensively, as Conley leaves a void of nearly 20 points per game to be replaced. This is a classic case of taking advantage of a modest salary that has not yet adjusted to a new role, and one that creates all sorts of flexibility in roster construction tonight.

Other Notables:

Shooting Guard

Dwyane Wade (CHI): $6,700 vs. LAL
There’s some blowout risk involved with Wade, but he showed on Friday that he can still put up incredibly efficient numbers in limited action (43.25 DKP in 29 minutes). The Bulls haven’t played since that game, so Wade should be rested and ready to roll in a strong matchup at home. This is a big boost in terms of pace for Chicago, and the Lakers are a poor defensive team, which all adds up to big-game potential for the veteran guard.

Other Notables:

Small Forward

Glenn Robinson (IND): $5,300 @ POR
Paul George is expected to miss a few more games, which will likely keep the door open for Robinson to continue playing heavy minutes. The Trail Blazers are the worst defensive team in the league, and this contest features the highest total of the evening, which should mean plenty of fantasy production. While Robinson’s price has started to adjust with his recent performances, he’s still priced in a range that leaves some room for profit.

Other Notables:

Power Forward

Rudy Gay (SAC): $6,900 @ PHI
Gay and the Kings draw a phenomenal matchup on the road against the hapless Sixers, and he provides good exposure to this game without breaking the bank on DeMarcus Cousins. While Gay is appropriately priced, he has good upside for tournaments, which is exactly what we want when constructing a GPP lineup. While Cousins is the centerpiece of the offense, Gay is still a key cog, and one that should produce tonight.

Other Notables

Center

Andre Drummond (DET): $7,400 @ BOS
Provided Drummond doesn’t face a suspension for an accidental elbow that was deemed a flagrant foul and subsequently an ejection, Drummond is one of the best values across the board tonight. He only played 13 minutes last night before the ejection, and he’s simply underpriced at this level. Boston is a weak rebounding team, and they do not defend opposing centers well, so look for a big game from Drummond tonight.

Other Notables

Guard

John Wall (WAS): $9,300 @ OKC
This is a phenomenal matchup for Wall, as he will face Russell Westbrook and the Thunder in what should be a fast-paced contest. This is a boost in pace for the Wizards, and with Westbrook’s propensity to turn the ball over, Wall could swipe a few steals tonight. While he doesn’t quite possess the same floor and upside as Westbrook, he’s still a good buy in a strong matchup.

Forward

Robert Covington (PHI): $4,600 vs. SAC
Covington carries a low floor, but his upside is worth targeting in tournaments tonight. I’m hoping the volatility in Covington’s production keeps some owners off of him, but scoring 34.75 DKP on Monday won’t help much. His ability to knock down three-point shots gives him a boost in DraftKings’ scoring format, and this is a good individual matchup for the swingman at home tonight.

Utility

Mason Plumlee (POR): $5,800 vs. IND
This is a good matchup for Plumlee, and his ability to pass gives him an added boost that most big men don’t possess. He is a good bet for 30-32 minutes at home tonight, and he will face a poor rebounding team, which further enhances his floor. There isn’t much of a discount in his salary, but he’s a fine midrange play from the final game of the evening.
