Let’s get right to it on a short slate of games. I think we are all watching the potential revenge game between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. The Thunder come into this game leading the Western Conference at 4-0 while the Warriors are 3-1.
Westbrook says “he plays every game the same” but we won’t take his word for it. Durant will look to elevate his team past his former team.

Tonight’s games & point projections:
SAC @ ORL – 199
IND @ MIL – 212
DEN @ MIN – 209
BOS @ CLE – 208
OKC @ GS – 226
Turn $25 into $15,000 in FanDuel’s NBA Slam
Point Guard
Stephen Curry (GS): $8,600 vs. OKC
I can’t get over the fact that Curry’s daily price tag is $3,600 less than Westbrook. I can easily make a case for Westbrook, but if I use Curry, I can play him along with another solid point guard like Kyrie Irving. Curry has at least 31.6 fantasy points in every game this season.
Kyrie Irving (CLE): $7,500 vs. BOS
Irving is currently tied for eighth in the NBA in points per game with 26.8. Irving just posted a 32 point game against the Rockets and is now a STUD. PLAY YOUR STUDS!
Also Consider:
Russell Westbrook (OKC): $12,200
Kris Dunn (MIN): $4,900
Elfrid Payton (ORL): $6,200
Shooting Guard
Monta Ellis (IND): $5,900 at MIL
A favorable matchup for Ellis as the Bucks allow the fifth most points to opposing two guards. Ellis is a great value play in what is projected to be the second-highest scoring game of the night. Ellis also scored 17 points in his last game against the Lakers playing 38 minutes.
Zach LaVine (MIN): $6,000 vs. DEN
LaVine is fresh off a 31 point performance against the Grizzlies and draws another favorable matchup against the Nuggets. LaVine has at least 29 fantasy points in every game this season and will be more involved with Ricky Rubio out indefinitely.
Also Consider:
Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL): $9,700
Evan Fournier (ORL): $6,000
Small Forwards
Kevin Durant (GS): $9,700 vs. OKC
Durant will go against his former teammates and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the late night potential high-scoring game. Durant will get his chance at a revenge game versus his former team and Westbrook. From a fantasy perspective, Durant has been one of the best this season. PLAY YOUR STUDS!
Aaron Gordon (ORL): $5,8000 vs. SAC
Generally, we can insert any players who face the Kings into our lineups. I know he hasn’t scored many points this season averaging about 8.5 PPG.
However, a matchup with the Kings should help. Gordon will be heavily involved and hasn’t played less than 26 minutes in any game.
Also Consider:
LeBron James (CLE): $9,500
Andrew Wiggins (DEN): $6,300
Power Forwards
Amir Johnson (BOS): $4,000 at CLE
We can’t help but notice last night’s game against the Bulls in which Johnson made 4-for-4 on three point attempts and finished with 23 points. With Al Horford out again tonight due to a concussion, Johnson makes for an excellent value pick here.
Gorgui Dieng (MIN): $6,500 vs. DEN
Another player who is off to a hot start, Dieng has two double-doubles in three games and at least 35.2 fantasy points in every game this season. He draws a more than favorable matchup as the Nuggets allow the third most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.
Also Consider:
Kevin Love (CLE): $7,400
Serge Ibaka (ORL): $5,600
Center
Jusuf Nurkic (DEN): $5,600 at MIN
One of fantasy basketball’s surprises this season, Nurkic has been on a tear since being named the starter alongside Nikola Jokic. Nurkic hasn’t disappointed with at least 12 points and nine rebounds in every game this season. Get him in your lineup.
Also Consider:
DeMarcus Cousins (SAC): $9,600
Myles Turner (IND): $6,900
