FanDuel NBA Lineup Advice: Tuesday (11/29)

Giannis is a dynamic young superstar for the Bucks

Here we go again, guys! Another big FanDuel contest is in front of us, beginning at 7PM. If you take down the NBA Clutch Shot, you will walk away with $100,000. Let’s get right down to it and look at a potential lineup you could use tonight to win.

Turn $25 into $40,000 in FanDuel’s NBA Slam partner-arrow

Point Guard

Ish Smith (DET): $5,200 @ CHA
Smith has really benefited with Reggie Jackson being sidelined this year. He’s no superstar, but Smith is a quality guy who is averaging almost 24 FanDuel points a game this year. That’s a little lower than 5X value, but he does get a good matchup here against a team who is playing their second game of a back-to-back.

Tony Parker (SA): $4,500 vs ORL
Parker clearly is an aging veteran here, but he’s still pretty serviceable. The Magic aren’t a tough defense at all, and Parker could easily score 20 fantasy points. I’m a little concerned about his minutes, but he has been consistently over 25 lately. If Parker does happen to sit out, I have no problem with playing Patty Mills at a cheaper price tag.

Also Consider:

Elfrid Payton (ORL): $5,700 @ SA
Isaiah Whitehead (BKN): $3,900 vs LAC

Shooting Guard

James Harden (HOU): $11,500 @ UTA
Even though Patrick Beverly is back, Harden is still the primary ball handler for his team. He’s been so good this year, averaging over 50 FanDuel points on the year. He’s a little overpriced, but I’m going for stars and scrubs on this slate. It’s also a bad matchup against a slow Utah team, which will help out with Harden’s ownership rate tonight. Regardless, Harden is such a good player that the matchup doesn’t matter.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL): $10,000 vs CLE
Like Harden, Anteokounmpo is also the primary ball handler for his respective team. Anteokounmpo is expensive as well, which should lower his ownership percentage. The matchup isn’t ideal, as Kyrie Irving is a pretty good defender. I’m still going with Anteokounmpo in GPP’s due to this fact. He’s going to be a boom or bust play no matter what.

Also Consider:

Jordan Clarkson (LAL): $5,200 @ NO
Jeremy Lamb (CHA): $4,000 vs DET

Small Forward

Trevor Ariza (HOU): $5,400 @ UTA
Another bad matchup guy is Ariza. The only good thing is that this is the second game of a back-to-back for the Jazz. Ariza has been good recently, averaging 32 fantasy points per game over his past two. Like Harden, he’s still been efficient, even with the return of Beverly. Ariza’s price tag is extremely affordable on this six-game slate.

Tony Snell (MIL): $3,700 vs CLE
He’s been a very inefficient player this year, but I’ll take my chances with a guy who has seen 30+ minutes in four of his past six games. It’s not like Snell has been terrible, but he’s averaging a little over 15 fantasy points per game on the year. Cleveland isn’t a great matchup to go against, but you will get a good amount of savings here, and it won’t take much to pay off his price tag.

Also Consider:

Kawhi Leonard (SA): $8,400
Marco Belinelli (CHA): $4,100

Power Forward

Anthony Davis (NO): $12,000 vs LAL
Davis is extremely expensive in this matchup here, but he’s also in a great spot to perform. At his price tag, Davis needs to reach 60 FanDuel points on a 5X value theory. He’s reached 60 FanDuel points in two of his past three contests. Even though it will be difficult for Davis to reach 60, if he does, it definitely sets you up to have a good night. That is contingent on finding value plays on the night, something I feel I’ve found in this article.

Thomas Robinson (LAL): $3,600 @ NO
In years past, I would play Robinson almost every time that he got a spot start. Even though he’s on yet another new team, the sentiment doesn’t change. Overall, Robinson’s season-long numbers look terrible, just because he never sees time. If Julius Randle is out again, Robinson is almost a must play at this price tag. He only has seen 15 and 16 minutes in his past two games but is averaging almost 20 fantasy points per game. It’s just a shame that Robinson might not see more than 15 minutes again. Even if that is the case, reaching his value at that salary is easily attainable.

Also Consider:

Blake Griffin (LAC): $9,000
Kevin Love (CLE): $8,400

Center

John Henson (MIL): $4,100 vs CLE
Henson definitely took advantage of his spot start on Sunday, putting up 20 points and seven rebounds on a minuscule price tag. He’s likely to get the start again, and he’s still at a very good price tag to easily reach his value. The one thing that should be noted is that his coach, Jason Kidd, is very erratic with his playing time. Even so, I’d still deploy Henson to get the immense savings.

Also Consider:

Nikola Vucevic (ORL): $7,000
Tristan Thompson (CLE): $5,000
