Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers (GB): $6,700 vs. HOU (13.3% Own %)
Rodgers has a similar ceiling as Drew Brees, yet he comes at a meaningful discount and thus could be highly sought after this week. His salary has never been lower this season, yet he leads all quarterbacks in scoring over the last five weeks. The Texans have allowed 267 passing yards and 2.7 touchdowns over their last three games, and Rodgers figures to add to those totals in Week 13.

Running Back

David Johnson (ARI): $9,500 vs. WAS (45.9% Own %)
Johnson has scored at least 27 DKP in seven out of his last eight games, including against some tough defenses. This further underscores how matchup proof he is, and how vital he is to this offense.
The Redskins allowed just 47 and 84 rushing yards in Weeks 11 and 12, but those came against some inept rushing attacks. Johnson has an incredibly high floor, which makes him appealing for cash games, and you’ll certainly want a little exposure for tournaments as well.

Wide Receiver

Antonio Brown (PIT): $9,100 vs. NYG (47% Own %)
It’s tough not to be on Antonio Brown most weeks, especially at home, but I will at least have reduced exposure in Week 13. He figures to see plenty of Janoris Jenkins in coverage, who has been very good this season. While Brown is an elite talent, I recommend a bit of caution before just arbitrarily plugging him into all of your lineups.

Tight End

Travis Kelce (KC): $4,700 @ ATL (17.5% Own %)
Matchup and price figure to drive Kelce’s ownership levels this week, as he projects to be one of the higher owned options at the position this week. Kelce has averaged over nine targets per game since Week 9, and he’s produced two games of at least 20 DKP in each of the last two weeks.

He’s also seeing more looks in the red zone, which is a boost to his stock, as it’s a matter of time before he scores a touchdown with that kind of volume. The matchup is a plus one on the road, as the Falcons have surrendered 17 catches, 142 receiving yards and two touchdowns to tight ends over their last three games.

D/ST

Denver Broncos D/ST (DEN): $3,900 @ JAX (17.4% Own %)
The Jaguars have one of the lower implied team totals of the week, and despite them being expensive, they figure to be popular this week. Blake Bortles is prone to turnovers, and this could lead to all sorts of opportunities for the Denver defense. It’s wise to pay up for the Broncos in cash games, but it might make sense to find a cheaper alternative at lower ownership levels in tournaments this week.
