Even in a tough matchup, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist should still deliver a well-rounded performance on Thursday night

Welcome back to Thursday’s FanDuel NBA Lineup Advice. We have a larger slate tonight with six games as opposed to usually around four games. One game that everyone should tune in for is the first matchup of the season for the Warriors and Rockets.

James Harden will go against his former teammate Kevin Durant. So with said, get your studs into your lineup including Harden and Durant.

Point Guards

D.J. Augustin (ORL): $3,700 at MEM
D.J. Augustin continues to start with coach Vogel swapping players in-and-out of the starting lineup. Also in his favor, Elfrid Payton left the previous game with an ankle injury and is questionable for Thursday. Augustin will go against a young Grizzlies backcourt with Mike Conley out making him a solid low price daily play.

Andrew Harrison (MEM): $3,900 vs. ORL
Andrew Harrison has been thrown into the starting lineup with the Mike Conley back injury. Harrison started against the Raptors and played 35 minutes while scoring 21 points. He played a significant amount of minutes more than Wade Baldwin making him a solid value play against the Magic.

Also Consider:

Shooting Guards

James Harden (HOU): $11,300 at GS
This is an obvious choice due to his unbelievable play this season especially in terms of assists. He only has four games this season of fewer than 10 assists. Also, he has at least 40 plus fantasy points in every game this season. PLAY YOUR STUDS!

Sean Kilpatrick (BKN): $5,700 vs. MIL
Which player has been better for the Nets recently not named Brook Lopez? It’s been Sean Kilpatrick who just posted a monster 38 points and 14 rebounds against the Clippers. Over his previous four games, Kilpatrick has at least 27.9 fantasy points all of those games. Get him in your lineup while he’s on fire.

Also Consider:

Small Forwards

Kevin Durant (GS): $10,200 vs. HOU
This is a huge opportunity to Kevin Durant to prove to everyone what he brings to the table for the Warriors. To make it even more appealing, he will go against former teammate James Harden.

Durant has recorded double-double’s in his two previous game. I could also swap in LeBron James and be very happy.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (CHA): $5,200 vs. DAL
I know the matchup on paper doesn’t look favorable for Michael Kidd-Gilchrist as the Mavericks are solid against opposing small forwards. However, MKG is more of an all-around player who can produce no matter the matchup.

For example, Memphis is also solid against small forwards and MKG went for 14 points and seven boards. He has at least one steal and one block in his two previous games.

Also Consider:

Power Forwards

Kevin Love (CLE): $8,300 vs. LAC
Kevin Love has been sensational lately including posting three consecutive double-doubles after his explosive 40 point performance against the Blazers. Love should be very involved in this high-scoring game and needs to be in your lineup even with Channing Frye expected back.

Ryan Anderson (HOU): $4,400 at GS
Ryan Anderson has at least 10 points in each of his previous five games and could be in for a potential breakout game against the Warriors. We all know this is likely the highest-scoring game of the night and Anderson will take his shots from beyond the arc.

Also Consider:

Center

Brook Lopez (BKN): $7,300 vs. MIL
Brook Lopez is always someone to monitor during potential back-to-back sets. However, the Nets haven’t played since Tuesday giving Lopez ample rest time before this matchup with the Bucks.

The Bucks center position has been a committee most recently with John Henson starting. The Bucks also allow the third most points to opposing centers.

Good luck tonight!
