Golden Tate really excelled with Marvin Jones out of the lineup

Tyler Lockett finally exploded for a huge game in Week 13 with over 130 yards from scrimmage for the Seattle Seahawks offense. Several other often forgotten players such as Joe Flacco, Brandon LaFell and a handful of typically mediocre tight ends also had terrific weeks. A few experts were remarkably able to foresee a few of these big-time performances. As always, you can check out the entire standings in our accuracy section.

This week, we saw Marc Caviglia (Bruno Boys) and Anthony Staggs (Pyromaniac) finish in the top ten for the second straight week, while Dalton Del Don (Yahoo!) remarkably finished in the top 5 two weeks in a row. The big congratulations, however, is due to Andy Behrens (Yahoo!) who was the most accurate expert of the week. Despite finishing 92 for wide receivers, Behrens was so dominant with ranking running backs and quarterbacks that he was able to secure the top finish. His most impressive selection came when he graded Seattle running back, Thomas Rawls as the RB #13. The expert consensus had Rawls at RB #20, a whole 7 spots lower than Behrens. As we know, Rawls was one of the top running backs this week. Excellent picks on both Brock Osweiler and Mark Ingram further helped him in securing the Week 13 win.

Several of our year-to-date top 10 experts had tremendous weeks, helping them make moves further up in the top 10. Dave Major (XN Sports) finished #13 for the week which enabled him to leap from #6 in the year-to-date standings to #4. Likewise, Justin Boone (theScore) had a  #15 finish this week which helped him jump from #9 to #7 for the season and Scout Fantasy’s Staff Rankings finished #16 on the week to move up from #10 to #8. We had one expert return back into the top 10 as Greg Smith (TwoQBs) finished in the top 10 for the week which shot him up to #10 in the year-to-date accuracy. It is worth noting that Greg Smith’s website focuses on two-quarterback leagues and he has been the #2 expert out of over 140 on ranking quarterbacks accurately this season. At the top of the leaderboard, Jake Ciely (RotoExperts) made up ground on long-time leader Sean Koerner (STATS) for the third straight week. Ciely placed #20 for the week while Koerner finished #42.
