J.J. Nelson had another tremendous game for the Cardinals last week
Week 14 may have been the most bizarre week yet, as supposedly safe quarterbacks failed all over the place, a handful of backup running backs had huge performances and random wide receivers like Chris Hogan and J.J. Nelson had monster games. A few experts were wise enough to rank some of these players higher than the consensus, setting them apart from the rest of the expert pack for Week 14. Congratulations to Jason Moore (The Fantasy Footballers) on not just the #1 performance of the week from over 140 experts, but for what was perhaps the top expert performance of the season. Moore finished further ahead of the rest of the field than any other expert this season for a single week and finished top 10 in ranking accuracy for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends this week. The story of his success, as usually for the winner, boiled down to not making any wild errors, however, there were a few spectacular predictions that set him apart from the pack. Jason was well ahead of the consensus rankings for Robby Anderson, who he ranked the #43 receiver this week. Anderson finished all the way up at #19, but the expert consensus graded him as WR #58, a full 15 spots lower than Moore. Likewise, Moore had Anquan Boldin at WR #39 which was 9 spots closer than the expert consensus. Some of his other impressive picks were moving Tyrell Williams, Allen Robinson and Ben Roethlisberger much lower than the consensus, which proved to be a wise move. It is worth noting that Anthony Staggs (Pyromaniac) has now finished in the top 10 three straight weeks. Well done, Anthony!

This group of ten experts is on an absolute tear, so there are no newcomers to the top ten this week. Each one of the pundits finished in the top 53 out of 141, while Brett Talley (The Fantasy Fix) had the highest accuracy ranking at #9 for Week 14. That big performance allowed him to trade places with Dave Major (XN Sports) despite his impressive #27 rank for the week. Bill Enright (FFChamps) was the only other expert within the top 10 to make a move up the leaderboard, thanks to his #15 week. Meanwhile, Jeff Ratcliffe (Pro Football Focus) ranked #35 for Week 14 and is probably too far behind at this point to make up enough ground in the final three weeks to capture the top prize.
