FanDuel NBA Lineup Advice: Monday (1/16)
Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis now has six straight double-doubles

Lots of games to choose from, including a Finals rematch—so no shortage of quality options to build your FanDuel lineup around. With it being Martin Luther King Day, there are games throughout the entire day, starting at 1 pm EST. So make sure you get your lineup in early. Here is the lineup I am playing.

 Point Guard

Jeff Teague (IND): $7,900 vs. NO
Teague has been playing well of late and is a big reason why the Pacers have won five of their past six games. He has averaged 16.6 points, 9.8 assists, and 4.0 rebounds (34.1 FanDuel points) in the Pacers past five games. The former Atlanta Hawk will look to keep it up against the Pelicans Monday afternoon.

Elfrid Payton (ORL): $6,000 vs. DEN
In the two games Payton has played since being reinserted in the Magic starting lineup he has averaged 23.5 points, 8.0 assists, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. If he continues to perform at that level he will not have this low of a price tag for much longer. Payton should carry this momentum into the game versus the Nuggets, who have allowed the second highest FanDuel points to PGs this season.

Shooting Guard

Devin Booker (PHX): $6,500 vs. UTA
The 20-year-old guard has been on a tear in the Suns’ past three games, averaging over 35 points. Booker is a talented scorer and seems to be finding his shooting stroke of late, shooting over 50 percent in four straight. Booker is not too expensive and could explode for a big game given the way he has played recently.

Kyle Korver (CLE): $3,900 vs. GS
Korver finally busted out of his slump Friday night against the Kings, recording 18 points, five rebounds, and two assists—good for 31 FanDuel points. The Creighton product will need to carry this momentum into the game Monday to help the Cavs keep up with the Warriors. Cleveland is actively working out ways to get the recently acquired Korver involved, so inserting him in your lineup is a good gamble given the price.

Small Forward

Wilson Chandler (DEN): $5,800 vs. ORL
Chandler has scored 20+ points in three of his past five, and he has also recorded at least seven rebounds in three straight. With Darrell Arthur (knee) not expected to play, Chandler should see an increase in minutes Monday night. Also, the matchup with the Magic offers Chandler lots of opportunity to excel.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (CHA): $4,900 vs. BOS

MKG is an up-and-down player, but there have been more ups of late. He has scored in double-digits in seven of his past 10 contests, and he has grabbed at least nine rebounds in six of his past 10. In that timeframe, he is averaging just under 25 FanDuel points per game. Kidd-Gilchrist should have a good opportunity to reach that against an average Celtics defense.

Power Forward

Anthony Davis (NO): $11,600 vs. IND
Davis may be having the best season of his career, averaging career-highs in points (29.3) and rebounds (12.3). In the past three games he has played, Davis has recorded at least 36 points and 14 rebounds. He has recorded six straight double-doubles and is well worth the cost. Feel confident building your lineup around The Brow.

Jabari Parker (MIL): $7,400 vs. PHI
Parker has averaged 21.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in his past five games, scoring over 33 FanDuel points in each of those contests. He is starting to perform at the level many expected when he was drafted second overall in 2014. Parker has been consistently providing value in DFS, and he’s a threat to record a double-double any night.

Center

Marcin Gortat (WAS): $6,000 vs. POR
Gortat has recorded a double-double in seven of the Wizards’ past nine games and is averaging a career-best 11.8 rebounds this season. Also, in his past five games, Gortat has shot a robust 69 percent (27-for-39) from the field. The veteran gets a plus matchup against a suspect defense in the Blazers, making Gortat a reliable option at a decent price.
