Kelly Olynyk has scored 12 or more points in four of his last five games
This Wednesday’s slate has a higher number of games to choose from than in recent weeks. With the higher number of games comes a bigger player pool to choose from with a lot of big-name, high-price players that are going to be must-haves in your line-up. Getting some of the big names is going to mean you are going to have to save money somewhere, and these value plays are going to help you cash in big.

Guard
Tim Hardway Jr. (ATL): $4,800 at DET
Since the departure of Kyle Korver, Hardway has been lights out. Even if he isn’t a starter moving forward he has been scoring at a high rate, having four 20-plus point games in his last eight and only failing to reach double-digits twice in those same eight games. Detroit at home is going to be a fairly tough test, but THJ should return value even if he doesn’t get the start.
Sergio Rodriguez (PHI): $4,100 vs. TOR
This is the riskiest play of the bunch because Rodriguez’s production is hinging on him getting another start in favor of T.J. McConnell who has a wrist injury and is currently a GTD for Wednesday night. Right now it is unclear how many games McConnell will miss but as long as he is out Rodriguez will get the start, and with that start comes production at a low price. As a starter, he averages right around 10 points, six assists, three rebounds, one steal and 1.7 3-pointers per game. The Raptors will are a tough team to face but he should still be right around his averages giving him solid return for his price.
Forward
Anthony Tolliver (SAC): $4,000 vs. IND
This is kind of a dangerous play because Tolliver has been given an opportunity to start the last four games, but his head coach likes to change the starting line-up a lot so he could take a back seat at any moment. In every game that he has started, he has played more than 30 minutes, which is a lot of opportunity for someone with a low price like his. He has averaged 12.5 points, almost five rebounds, 1.3 assists, two steals and a solid 2.3 3-pointers per game in his four starts.
Mindaugas Kuzminskas (NY): $3,900 at BOS
Kuzminskas (a.k.a Cheese) is getting his opportunity because of the Achilles injury to Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingas could return to action as early as tonight, however, in the event that he does return he more than likely will be eased back into action after an extended layoff. Cheese will still maintain have value in the event of a Porzingas return but his value days are numbered. His first start yielded a 14 point with one three-pointer, five rebound, two assists and two steal stat line in a surprising 38 minutes of play. It is a hostile environment to play in for just your second start but expect another full stat line because the Knicks are going to need to score if they want to win.
Center
Kelly Olynyk (BOS): $4,300 vs. NY
Olynyk is riding a bit of a hot streak as of late and making a push to crack the starting line up according to coach Brad Stevens. He has scored 12 or more points in four of his last five games, his best stretch of this season. Not surprisingly, they have come after he was instructed to be more aggressive and shoot the ball more often. For a big man, he shoots a fair amount of three-pointers and has made six of them in his last two games. Olynyk will look to take advantage of a weaker Knicks team and have another big game. Ride the hot hand and cash in.
