Point Guard

Russell Westbrook (OKC): $12,700 vs LAL
The Lakers are bottom four in FanDuel points allowed to opposing point guards. The only thing more scary for them then a matchup with Westbrook is a matchup with a well rested Westbrook. Look for him to pick up right where he left off before the All-Star break when he dropped 74.8 FanDuel points on the Knicks.

Jameer Nelson (DEN): $5,600 vs BKN
Nelson’s price tag has yet to catch up to his performance. Over his last five games, he has scored at least 33 FanDuel points, and tonight he gets a dream matchup with a Nets team giving up 48-plus FanDuel points to point guards on the year — dead last in the league.

Shooting Guard

Devin Booker (PHO): $6,600 @ CHI
Booker has played one game against the Bulls this year and put up 38 FanDuel points. The Bulls aren’t good enough to blow the Suns out, and even if they were Booker’s minutes are safe. He struggled a bit going into the All-Star Break, but after some much-needed rest look for him to be jacking up a ton of shots for the Suns once again.

*You can pay up for Bradley Beal and change nothing. He was my original pick, but he struggles against the Sixers so I went Booker instead.

Gary Harris (DEN): $5,200 vs BKN
Harris is logging heavy minutes over his last few games — dating back to before the All-Star break — and his scoring totals are finally starting to match his minutes. He has struggled at times this year while dealing with multiple injuries, but he appears to be healthy now and gets a great matchup with the Nets — the worst team in FanDuel points allowed to shooting guards.

Small Forward

Jimmy Butler (CHI): $9,300 vs Suns
If reports are to be believed, Butler was nearly a Boston Celtic, but ultimately he remained a Bull and is still the centerpiece for this team. The Suns were a bad defensive team before the All-Star break, and they didn’t help their cause by trading away their best wing defender in P.J. Tucker to the Raptors. This game has the second highest over/under on the slate and the Bulls just aren’t good enough to blow the Suns out, meaning Butler should have a monster game tonight.

T.J. Warren (PHO): $5,000 @ CHI
As I mentioned above, the Suns traded away P.J. Tucker who was Warren’s main hurdle to getting 30-plus minutes a game. In every game since the beginning of the year in which has received at least 31 minutes, Warren has exceeded five times value. He should easily get 31 or more minutes tonight, and even in a tough matchup with Jimmy Butler, at $5,000 I still think he returns value.

Power Forward

Larry Nance Jr. (LAL): @ OKC $4,300
The Lakers were involved in a lot of trade rumors over the past week. They were supposedly in the running for DeMarcus Cousins before he was traded to the Pelicans, and then there were rumors they might land Paul George. Instead, they did not get any big name players and lost maybe their best player in Lou Williams to Houston. The Lakers are once again in a position to finish the year with a record that could land them a top three draft pick. What does all this mean for Nance? Well, the Lakers and new President of Basketball Operations Magic Johnson are going to want to evaluate their younger players, and Nance falls into that category. With Lou Williams gone, that opens up a lot of bench minutes that could go to Nance.

Dario Saric (PHI): $6,200 vs WAS
The Sixers traded away Ersan Ilyasova despite the fact he was having the best year of his career. Dario Saric is the reason why he became expendable. Saric has averaged over 35 FanDuel points over his last four games, and with Ilyasova no longer there to soak up some of those power forward minutes, it opens the door for Saric to consistently get 30-plus minutes. The Wizards are middle of the pack in FanDuel points allowed to opposing power forwards, but they allow the third most “real life” NBA points to power forwards — something Saric can register in bunches.

Center

Jahlil Okafor (PHI): $4,500 vs WAS
With Nerlens Noel being traded to the Mavericks and Joel Embiid expected to miss at least the next few games, Okafor should be in for a heavy workload. He hasn’t seen too many games this year in which he exceeded 30 minutes, but he has returned value in all the games in which he did hit that mark. With no Embiid, no Noel, and the with Wizards one of the few teams left with a true center, Okafor will be leaned on quite a bit in this game. At $4,500, he is a near a must-start.
