FanDuel NBA Lineup Advice: Monday (2/13)

Mike Conley and the Grizzlies have a great matchup Monday

Eleven games on the NBA slate Monday evening, making it another busy Monday in the NBA. There are plenty of options to choose from while constructing your lineup. I’ve going with a pair of Grizzlies against the worst team in the NBA in the Brooklyn Nets. Here is the rest of my lineup.

Point Guard

Mike Conley (MEM): $7,900 vs. BKN
The first Memphis player to appear in this lineup is Conley, who has averaged 36.2 FanDuel points in the Grizzlies’ past nine games. He is a fairly consistent contributor and goes up against the NBA’s worst defense against point guards. There is no reason why Conley cannot exploit a suspect defense like Brooklyn.

Jameer Nelson (DEN): $5,000 vs. GS
Nelson offers some value given the low price tag. He has back-to-back contests scoring over 35 FanDuel points. In his past three games, Nelson has averaged close to a double-double with 11.3 points and 9.3 assists. The Nuggets and Warriors should play a fast-paced, high-scoring game, offering lots of opportunities for Nelson to fill the stat sheet.

Shooting Guard

C.J. McCollum (POR): $7,700 vs. ATL
McCollum gets a plus matchup versus the Hawks, who have surrendered an NBA-worst 40.9 points to shooting guards in their past 10 games. Also, McCollum has scored over 30 FanDuel points in four of the Blazers’ past six games. The Lehigh product continues the best season of his career, averaging career-highs in points, shooting percentage, rebounds, and assists.

Gary Harris (DEN): $5,200 vs. GS
Four straight double-digit scoring performances for Harris. In those games, Harris has averaged a hair under 25 FanDuel points (24.8). As mentioned with his backcourt mate in Nelson, the Nuggets-Warriors game should open the door for additional stats for the Denver guards. Keeping with his recent averages would certainly make the $5,200 cost worth it.

Small Forward

Gordon Hayward (UTA): $8,100 vs. LAC
Another player with a great matchup, Hayward faces a below-average Clippers defense that has allowed the third-most FanDuel points to small forwards in their past 10 games. Hayward has scored over 30 points in four his past five games. In that timeframe, he is averaging 41.9 FanDuel points. He has shouldered a bigger workload with Rodney Hood out of the lineup and is performing at a highly efficient level.

Marco Belinelli (CHA): $4,000 vs. PHI
Belinelli has scored at least 16 points in three of the past five games for Charlotte. He is providing offense off the bench for the Hornets and is a solid bet to tally points and three-pointers versus the Sixers on Monday.

Power Forward

Paul Millsap (ATL): $8,000 vs. POR
Millsap has averaged 20.75 points, 6.25 rebounds, and 3.75 assists in the Hawks’ past four games, good for 34.9 FanDuel points per game. The Hawks face the Trail Blazers on Monday, who just traded away Mason Plumlee. In the first game without the big man, expect some uncertainty for the Blazers’ frontcourt. Millsap and the Hawks should be able to take advantage of that and have a big night.

Tobias Harris (DET): $5,500 vs. MIL
While Harris can be a little inconsistent at times, he has scored at least 16 points and recorded five rebounds in three straight games. The matchup versus the Bucks increases the likelihood of Harris continuing that trend on Monday night. His lower price tag allows for flexibility in constructing your lineup.

Center

Marc Gasol (MEM): $8,500 vs. BKN
Gasol gets a great matchup on Monday against the Nets, who have given up the sixth-most points to centers. He comes into Monday’s game averaging 17 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in his past three contests, all numbers that can be exceeded against the porous Brooklyn defense.
