Jameer Nelson may be the only standout value option at point guard tonight
Welcome to the Monday edition of the NBA FanDuel value plays. This article will focus on the 11-game main slate on FanDuel. Let’s go ahead and take a look at my favorite value options for tonight.

Point Guard
Jameer Nelson (DEN): $5,000 vs. GSW
Value at the point guard position is pretty ugly tonight, so for that reason I can only honestly recommend Jameer Nelson at this time. Emmanuel Mudiay will likely miss another game, which means that Nelson will see another start.
Nelson has been solid in favorable matchups, averaging 31.5 FanDuel points over his past three games. The Nuggets will likely get blown out against the Warriors, but Nelson should still see enough court time in an up tempo offense to reach value.
Shooting Guard
Buddy Hield (NOP): $3,600 at PHX
At this salary, Buddy Hield is a nice value option to consider since E’Twaun Moore has been ruled out and Tyreke Evans will be on a minute restriction. Hield should see about 20 minutes in a up tempo game for the Pelicans. Hield is not a high usage player, but given the circumstances there is a good chance he reaches value tonight.
Evan Fournier (ORL): $5,400 at MIA
Evan Fournier has now consistently seen around 30 minutes since returning from his injury. Tonight’s matchup is not great against Miami. However, Fournier has seen a usage bump lately since Elfrid Payton has been coming off of the bench. For that reason, Fournier is currently under priced considering he was over $6,000 prior to his injury.
Small Forward
T.J. Warren (PHX): $4,900 vs. NOP
Warren has put together back to back decent games with 25 and 26 FanDuel points. Tonight he has a decent matchup against the Pelicans, in what should be a very quick paced and high scoring game. Warren just had a great game against the Pelicans a week ago with 34.3 FanDuel points.
Joe Ingles (UTA): $3,800 vs. LAC
Joe Ingles has not been nearly as consistent as was earlier in the season, but he has still reached value in each of his last two games while filling in for the injured Rodney Hood. Tonight’s matchup is not great against the Clippers, but Ingles should see between 25 and 30 minutes, which should allow him to reach value at this salary.
Power Forward
Nerlens Noel (PHI): $5,400 @ CHA
Nerlens Noel is a great spot tonight since Joel Embiid is out and Jahlil Okafor is not traveling with the team, due to the possibility of being traded. He has a great matchup against the Hornets, who are one of the worst teams against opposing centers this season. He should see an increase in minutes, as well as a usage boost, and he has had some big games already this season.
Ed Davis (POR): $3,600 vs. ATL
With Mason Plumlee traded to the Nuggets, I imagine that Ed Davis will likely draw the start. Normally I do not recommend targeting players against the Hawks’ frontcourt, but at this price I will make an exception.
If Davis does draw the start, his minute bump should put him over 20 for tonight. Since this is a late tip off game, we probably will not know that for sure, so I would reserve this recommendation for GPPs only.
Center
Dewayne Dedmon (SAS): $4,400 at IND
Dewayne Dedmon had a monster game on Friday night, but followed that game up with a sub par game yesterday against the Knicks. I think Dedmon will bounce back tonight against the Pacers, who are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. Dedmon will continue to still see a heavy dosage of minutes since Pau Gasol will be out until sometime after the all-star break.
