Welcome to the Monday edition of the NBA FanDuel value plays. This article will focus on the 11-game main slate on FanDuel. Let’s go ahead and take a look at my favorite value options for tonight.

Point Guard

Yogi Ferrell (DAL): $5,600 at DEN
Yogi Ferrell had an amazing game on Friday night with 32 points, two rebounds and five assists. He was immediately rewarded with a two-year contract from the Mavericks, and I could see him continue to get an extended run with this team if they decided to deal Deron Williams

Speaking of Williams, he is expected to miss another game tonight. Therefore, Ferrell should be penciled in for at least 35 minutes in a great matchup against the Nuggets.

Darren Collison (SAC): $4,800 vs. CHI
I do not suggest going the value route at both point guard positions, but if you want a pivot from Ferell in GPPs, consider using Darren Collison. The Kings are currently decimated with injuries and now have lost Garrett Temple with a torn hamstring. Collison will now handle almost all of the point guard minutes and does have some upside at this salary against the Bulls.

Shooting Guard

Wesley Matthews (DAL): $5,600 @ DEN
Wesley Matthews has been pretty solid over the past week averaging 28.8 FanDuel points over his last four games. His price is still reasonable here tonight, and he has an outstanding up pace matchup against the Nuggets, who have been awful this season on defense.

Norman Powell (TOR): $4,800 vs. LAC
This recommendation hinges on the availability of DeMar DeRozan, who may come back tonight after missing the previous four games. If he does not return Norman Powell is once again in play. Powell has come down to earth a little bit after having a couple of solid games, but he is still a safe cash game option at this salary and has a solid matchup against J.J. Redick, who is not a good defender.

Small Forward

Matt Barnes (SAC): $3,800 vs. CHI
I already mentioned how the Kings are dealing with a ton of injuries and another beneficiary has been Matt Barnes. Barnes has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last three games and over his previous four games he has averaged 25.8 FanDuel points.

His upside may be somewhat limited if Jimmy Butler ends up playing for the Bulls tonight. However, he should still at least reach value at this salary and 30 minutes of court time.

DeMarre Carroll (TOR): $3,700 vs. LAC
DeMarre Carroll finally had a solid game yesterday afternoon with 15 points, five rebounds, an assist, a block and three steals. Regardless of DeRozan’s status tonight, Carroll is a decent cash game option at this salary. For the most part, Carroll sees at least 30 minutes on the court and tonight he has the best individual matchup of all of the small forward’s on the slate.

Power Forward

Lavoy Allen (IND): $3,500 vs. OKC
Lavoy Allen filled in for the injured Thaddeus Young, and he had a monster game with 18 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, a block and two steals. Young has already been ruled out for tonight’s game, so Allen is the free square of the day since he will likely see 30 minutes of court time tonight.

Marquese Chriss (PHX): $3,600 at NO
Other than Allen, value at the power forward position is not that great. If you want to be contrarian in large field GPPs, consider pivoting from Allen to Marquese Chriss. Chriss has improved throughout this season and had a great game on Saturday night with 27 points, six rebounds and two blocks. He has seen his role increase recently, and he could be a sneaky option against the Pelicans, who are one of the worst teams at defending opposing power forwards.

Center

Willy Hernangomez (NYK): $5,300 vs. LAL
Joakim Noah has been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Lakers, so Guillermo Hernangomez is squarely in play in all formats tonight. The Knicks may elect to start Kyle O’Quinn over Hernangomez, but Hernangomez has clearly been the better option for the Knicks on both sides of the ball. Also, tonight’s matchup is a great one against the Lakers, who allow the second-most FanDuel points to opposing centers.
