There isn’t much content for deep leagues, so some of you are left swimming for information when it comes to your 16 man leagues with 24 man rosters. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered on some players who are good bets to far-exceed value and a few who are risky but have the upside to surge into the top 150 this season. Since nearly every article consists of information for standard leagues, I’ll only be writing about players outside of the top 250 ADP. You’ll notice a few of my favorite deep league targets are not included, like Jorge Soler and Lance Lynn. That’s because I highlighted them and several others in my Top 10 Fantasy Baseball Sleepers piece. Think of this, rather, as bonus sleepers!

Greg Bird (1B- NYY): ADP #254
If you spread the Bird-Dog’s limited sample size from 2015 out to a full season then he would have hit 39 homers with 109 RBIs and 92 runs scored. Now that isn’t going to happen in his return from injury this season, but 25 to 30 homers seems like a lock if he stays healthy. Add in the fact that he has a prolific eye and you should expect him to get on base and score plenty of runs to go with his power production.
