There are 11 games on tap Wednesday, with many of these contests projected to be close. This should translate to a plethora of options to choose from, which should make for an interesting slate. As a friendly reminder, be sure to keep an eye on the news throughout the day, as injury/rest situations can be very prevalent this time of year. Let’s take a look at a tournament lineup for DraftKings.

Point Guard
Cory Joseph (TOR): $5,300 @ NO
While it’s no secret that DeMar DeRozan is the primary threat for the Raptors, Joseph should not go overlooked when building your lineups. This is a decent spot for him to produce, and he’s flashed some decent upside recently. This contest should be close, likely locking Joseph into at least 32 minutes tonight.
Other Notables:
- John Wall (WAS): $10,700 @ DEN
- Stephen Curry (GS): $10,100 vs. BOS
- Isaiah Thomas (BOS): $8,800 @ GS
- Dennis Schroder (ATL): $6,700 vs. BKN
- Reggie Jackson (DET): $5,100 @ IND
Shooting Guard
Jimmy Butler (CHI): $9,200 @ ORL
With Dwyane Wade doubtful to play this evening, Butler could be in line for a big night. Per StatMuse, in seven games that Wade has been out, Butler has averaged nearly 30 points per game, which is a healthy bump above his season average of 23.6 points per game. His counting statistics also see modest boosts, thus making him a good bet to put up a monster fantasy line this evening.
Other Notables:
- James Harden (HOU): $11,900 vs. HOU
- DeMar DeRozan (TOR): $8,700 @ NO
- Bradley Beal (WAS): $7,800 @ DEN
- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DET): $5,500 @ IND
- Rodney Hood (UTA): $4,700 @ HOU (if starting)
Small Forward
Gordon Hayward (UTA): $7,900 @ HOU
This matchup against the Rockets represents a big boost in terms of pace for the Jazz, and this is a good spot for Hayward to thrive. He is a good candidate to play at least 35 minutes tonight in a game that should be fairly competitive, and this should afford him plenty of chances to produce. Hayward continues to be a consistent fantasy producer, and I don’t see that changing tonight.
Other Notables:
- Kawhi Leonard (SA): $10,000 vs. SAC (blowout/rest risk)
- Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL): $9,800 vs. NY
- Carmelo Anthony (NY): $7,600 @ MIL
- Danilo Gallinari (DEN): $6,000 vs. WAS
- Terrence Ross (ORL): $5,300 vs. CHI
- Kent Bazemore (ATL): $4,600 vs. BKN
Power Forward
Draymond Green (GS): $8,200 vs. BOS
Green is an affordable way to get access to the Warriors if you can’t spend up for Steph Curry. This is a good matchup for Green, and this game should remain relatively close, thus affording him all sorts of chances to fill up the stat sheet. He’s a threat to post a triple-double on any given night, and his ability to contribute to multiple statistical categories makes him a very attractive fantasy option.
Other Notables
- Anthony Davis (NO): $10,200 vs. TOR
- Blake Griffin (LAC): $8,600 @ MIN
- Serge Ibaka (TOR): $6,600 @ NO
- Aaron Gordon (ORL): $6,000 vs. CHI
- Bobby Portis (CHI): $4,600 @ ORL
Center
Bismack Biyombo (ORL): $5,500 vs. CHI
Nikola Vucevic has been ruled out for tonight’s game, which should mean another start for Biyombo. This is a fairly neutral matchup, but with just a one-point spread, Biyombo should be looking at a full complement of minutes. He’s eclipsed 30 DKP in each of the last two games, which has resulted in a big jump in his salary. Still, I like his prospects of another solid fantasy outing tonight, making him a fine tournament play.
Other Notables
- Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN): $10,600 vs. LAC
- DeMarcus Cousins (NO): $9,900 vs. TOR
- Hassan Whiteside (MIA): $7,700 vs. CHA
- Rudy Gobert (UTA): $7,600 @ HOU
- Dwight Howard (ATL): $7,400 vs. BKN
- Robin Lopez (CHI): $4,200 @ ORL
Guard
Bojan Bogdanovic (WAS): $5,000 @ DEN
Bogdanovic doesn’t carry much of a discount at this price, especially being a bench player, but he’s still likely a lock for 25-28 minutes tonight. He’s shown an incredible ability to be efficient for his new team off the bench, as he’s scored at least 31 DKP in three out of the last four games. This is a great matchup against the Nuggets, and Bogdanovic’s ability to knock down three-point shots gives him an added boost in DraftKings’ scoring system.
Forward
Trey Lyles (UTA): $3,000 @ HOU
Derrick Favors has been ruled out for tonight’s contest, so I look for Lyles to pick up some extra run. As noted earlier, this is a boost in pace for the Jazz, which should translate to extra possessions. At minimum price, it’s tough to pass on Lyles as a source of salary relief.
Utility
Tim Hardaway Jr. (ATL): $5,700 vs. BKN
Despite the return of Thabo Sefolosha, Hardaway Jr. has not skipped a beat. While being primarily a scoring threat can introduce risk, it’s tough to ignore the matchup on deck tonight. The Nets are a poor defensive team that plays at the fastest pace in the league, which creates a situation in which Hardaway Jr. should continue his strong play.
