Point Guards

Eric Bledsoe (PHX): $8,900 vs. CHA
Bledsoe is putting together his best season of his career while posting averages of 21.3 points, 6.4 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. On a night where there are quite a few stud point guards, I’m electing to focus my team on the other positions as Bledsoe is one of the most consistent point guards in the NBA in terms of fantasy. Just in the month of February, Bledsoe hasn’t scored less than 20 fantasy points in any game while posting eight games of 30 plus fantasy points.

Rajon Rondo (CHI): $5,200 vs. GSW
Rondo has been a pleasant surprise for the Bulls as he was expected to be dealt at the deadline. However, the Bulls kept him and he’s responded well averaging 32.5 fantasy points per game in the three games after the break.

Rondo is averaging in those three games 13.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 0.3 blocks, 3.3 steals and just one turnover per game since the break. Rondo also had a solid game in his last against the Warriors with 12 points, six boards and eight assists. (Carter-Williams is likely out)

Shooting Guards

Devin Booker (PHX): $6,200 vs. CHA
Booker is coming off one of his worst games of the season scoring just nine points in a tough matchup against the Grizzlies. Even though this game isn’t in Mexico where he dominated, we expect him to bounce back in a favorable matchup against the Hornets. The Hornets allow the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing two guards this season and is a solid play at his price tag.

Klay Thompson (GSW): $7,000 at CHI
Thompson will face a team that on February 8th he put up 28 points while making six three-pointers. Thompson will see a boost with Kevin Durant out with a knee injury for an extended period while also picking up a few more minutes in the process.

Of the top five two guards, Thompson has the best cost per point at $193.00 per projected point. He’s not only a solid play, but he’s a smart play at that price.

Small Forwards

Jimmy Butler (CHI): $9,000 vs. GSW
Butler missed the previous meeting between these two teams, but he is the premier small forward play this evening. Butler benefits with the length Kevin Durant out and should be the focal point again for the Bulls.

I like Butler to have a huge game this evening in what could be the highest scoring game of the night. PLAY YOUR STUDS!

Andre Iguodala (GSW): $4,800 at CHI
Iguodala rounds out my small forward position as a solid value play in Thursday’s matchup with the Bulls. Also, he draws a favorable matchup as the Bulls allow the seventh most fantasy points to opposing small forwards this season.

Even though Matt Barnes is expected to suit up tonight, the loss of Kevin Durant gives Andre Iguodala the biggest boost in value. Barnes will likely see only a few minutes with Iguodala seeing plenty of run.

Power Forwards

Draymond Green (GSW): $8,300 at CHI
Green is a must start in a three-game slate on Thursday, and the absence of Kevin Durant makes him even more valuable. Even with Durant playing in the previous matchup against the Bulls, Green posted a solid 40.6 fantasy points which included 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Green is coming off back-to-back double-doubles with at least 14 points and 11 assists in each. He’s a must start with Durant out.

Enes Kanter (OKC): $5,900 at POR
Kanter draws one of the top matchups of the evening against the Blazers who allow the third most points to opposing power forwards. Kanter returned after the break from an arm injury and picked up where he left off with two games in a row of 15 plus points while grabbing at least seven rebounds in his last three games.

Kanter should be very active in this game and always feel free to plug in a power forward against the Blazers. In the Blazers previous game, they allowed a career-high 37 points to Marcus Morris.

Center

Zaza Pachulia (GSW): $4,600 at CHI
Pachulia is averaging only 17.8 minutes per game over his last four games, but he hasn’t posted less than 19.3 fantasy points in any of those four games. That’s just over a fantasy point per minute, and with a matchup against the Bulls, he could sneak into the early 20’s in minutes.

He’s also scored 12 points in each of his last two games, so he’s worthy of a cheap daily play. He should see a couple more minutes with Kevin Durant out as well.
