Point Guards

Damian Lillard (POR): $9,900 vs. NYK
Lillard has been sensational recently averaging 34.4 points per game over his last five including a season-high 49 points against Miami on Sunday. Lillard is shooting the lights out over his last five games going 54 percent from the floor, 51 percent from three and 93 percent from the line. A matchup with the Knicks never hurts, while Derrick Rose could miss this game after suffering a foot injury on Wednesday.

Tyler Ulis (PHX): $6,800 at BKN
Ulis has taken over the starting point guard role with Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight shut down for the season. Ulis has started the past four games and is posting 14.5 points, 9.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 0.3 blocks per game while averaging 41 minutes played. Ulis is one of the best value plays of the night, especially against the Nets who allow the most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season at almost 47 fantasy points a game.

Shooting Guards

C.J. McCollum (POR): $7,800 vs. NYK
McCollum draws another favorable matchup against the Knicks who allow the fifth-most points to opposing two guards this season. McCollum scored 16 points in his first meeting with the Knicks but is a good bet to score more in this game. It’s tough not to play DeMar DeRozen in this spot, but with the tough matchup for him against the Heat and McCollum’s $2,000 discount, I’m rolling with McCollum.

Jamal Crawford (LAC): $3,800 at DAL
Crawford has experienced success against the tough Mavericks defense, averaging 20.5 points per game in their two previous meetings. This is my biggest gamble of the night with Crawford’s scoring numbers going up-and-down. However, in the last five games, he’s averaged 11.8 points per game with only one game of less than 13 in that span. He’s a cheap play who I’m hoping can score in double figures, at least.

Small Forwards

Kawhi Leonard (SA): $9,300 vs. MEM
Leonard is taking his game to the next level this season, especially in terms of scoring. He’s averaging 26.0 points per game which is up almost five points from last season his previous best of 21.2 points per game in 2015-2016. Leonard is likely one of the most popular plays of the night and for good reason: PLAY YOUR STUDS! Also, Leonard just played a few days ago and posted 33.9 fantasy points while scoring 22 points in that game.

Harrison Barnes (DAL): $5,600 vs. LAC
Barnes has truly been a thorn in the side of the Clippers this season, averaging 23 points per game against them on 55.5 percent shooting from the floor while splitting those matchups 1-1. Barnes is coming off a cold game against the Warriors but in March is averaging 16.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Barnes is one of the top value plays of the night at just $5,600. His cost per point is currently projected at $185.00 which is third best.

Power Forwards

Marquese Chriss (PHX): $5,100 at BKN
Chriss is benefiting from extended playing time while the Suns try to build for the future. Currently, Tyson Chandler is shut down for the season while Dragan Bender and Alan Williams are both out with injuries or illness. Chriss’ play has been excellent over the last four games, as he’s averaging 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Chriss draws the ultimate matchup against the Nets who allow the second most fantasy points to opposing power forwards.

Al-Farouq Aminu (POR): $4,400 vs. NYK
Aminu draws a very favorable matchup against the Knicks who allow the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Yes, Aminu has been up-and-down lately, scoring just 3.2 points per game over his last five. However, Aminu was much better in the beginning of the month scoring 14, 23, and 12 points in three games. Aminu should get back on track against the Knicks and provide solid production at his cheap cost.

Center

Brook Lopez (BKN): $7,200 vs. PHO
Lopez rounds out my team with a favorable matchup against the Tyson Chandler-less Suns. Lopez’s strengths are scoring points and blocking shots, both of which the Suns allow in droves to opposing centers. For example, in Lopez’s previous meeting with the Suns, he recorded five blocks. Get him in your lineup while the Nets are down Sean Kilpatrick and before they decide to shut Lopez down.
