Below are my FanDuel value picks, based on the eight-game schedule Wednesday night. These players can be used in your lineup to free your salary cap and make it easier to build around some of the high-priced stars.

Guard
T.J. McConnell (PHI): $5,600 vs. OKC
The Sixers young guard is averaging 8.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds in his past five contests and has logged at least 28 minutes in four of those games. He’s coming off a double-double (16 points and 11 assists) and has recorded at least six assists in nine straight games.
Gary Harris (DEN): $6,100 vs. CLE
Harris scored a career-high 28 points on Monday and has now tallied over 30 FanDuel points in four of his past five games. Harris is averaging 20.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in those five games and gets a matchup against the Cavaliers on Monday.
Forward
Richaun Holmes (PHI): $6,100 vs. OKC
Three straight games over 30 FanDuel points for the rookie. In that timeframe, Holmes has really stuffed the stat sheet, with averages of 16.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.6 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game (38.7 FanDuel points). With the trades of Nerlens Noel and Ersan Ilyasova, plus the injury to Joel Embiid, there has been a hole in the Sixers frontcourt that has offered more opportunities for Holmes.
Jae Crowder (BOS): $6,000 vs. IND
Over his past three games, Crowder has averaged 18.3 points and 9.3 rebounds—good for 34.8 FanDuel points per game. Crowder will look to keep the hot hand going as his recent play is far greater than his season averages (13.6 points and 5.8 rebounds).
Center
Al Horford (BOS): $6,700 vs. IND
Horford has been heating up lately, averaging 17.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in the Celtics’ past five games (40.7 FanDuel points). Admittedly some of that production was due to more touches with Isaiah Thomas out for two of those games, but Horford still posted a line of 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in Thomas’s return against the Wizards on Monday. That type of production will allow Horford to exceed his very reasonable price tag against a Pacers team that has struggled against centers.
