After the cancellation of the Greenbrier Classic last year, the event is back. So many contenders and so many potential winners. The pros will go up against The Old White TPC in West Virginia. A par 70, 7,286 is something the players need to prepare for. Long and straight players who can knock it in tight will find success at this course. The super sleeper pick is a former winner but someone who has not found themselves in contention the PGA Tour in quite some time.

Webb Simpson ($8,300)
Simpson has played well at this tournament in the past. Simpson has three top 10s in his past five appearances. The 31-year-old has been in good form recently as well. In the past month, Simpson slotted a 5th place finish at the DEAN & DELUCA Invitational and a T-8th finish at the Travelers Championship. Simpson is due for a win, and it could come at a course that he is familiar with.
Stewart Cink ($7,200)
Cink looks like he’s found the fountain of youth recently. The veteran has two top 10s and one top 25 in his last four tournament appearances. Cink has never played in this event, but Old White suits his game well. There are a lot of par 4s on this course, and Cink has made a lot of birdies on par 4s this season. Cink has 159 birdies on 777 (20.46%) par 4s played. Lock him in your lineup this week.
Xander Schauffele ($6,600)
Like Cink, Schauffele has never played this event, but he has been on fire in the last month. After a T-5th finish at the U.S. Open, Schauffele followed it up with a T-14th finish at the Travelers Championship. Schauffele hits a long ball. He is averaging 303.8 yards off the tee this season. Old White is a long course at 7,286 yards, and the young gun will look to take advantage. Schauffele comes into this week 13th in ball striking and will use that to his advantage in his first appearance at the Greenbrier.
Ted Potter Jr. ($5,400)
My super sleeper for the week is Ted Potter Jr. Who, you might ask? Just a former winner of this event, who has struggled and currently finds himself on the Web.com Tour. However, Potter has a 2nd and 5th place finish in the last three events on the Web.com Tour. Not to mention, Potter holds the best scoring average at this course in the field, at 67.50 in three appearances. Potter will be oozing confidence this week.
