Welcome to the Week 6 NFL FanDuel Mini article. In this article, we will be taking a look at a relatively new slate that was introduced about half-way through the MLB season this year. Unlike a traditional FanDuel NFL lineup, you only have to roster five players (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR) in the FanDuel Mini format. One other slight difference is that all tight ends also appear as wide receivers, so you do have the option of using a tight end if you choose to do so. The total salary cap ($60,000) is the exact same as a traditional NFL FanDuel lineup, but they do scale the salaries up a little bit to accommodate for the smaller roster size. Let’s take a look at some of my favorite options for the FanDuel Mini slate in Week 6.

Quarterback
Kirk Cousins (WAS) : $11,000 vs. SF
Kirk Cousins had a slow start to the season with only two touchdowns through his first two games but has five over his last two games. The Redskins have a great matchup out of their bye week against the 49ers, who have allowed over 300 passing yards in each of their past two games.
Running Back
Todd Gurley (LAR): $13,000 at JAC
Todd Gurley had a rough game last week against the Seahawks with only 50 yards on 14 carries and two receptions with a lost fumble. He will look to bounce back in a solid matchup against the Jaguars. The Jaguars have been excellent against the pass this season, but they have struggled against the run allowing the second-most rushing yards per game this season.
Kareem Hunt (KC): $14,500 vs. PIT
Kareem Hunt was unable to find the end zone for the second consecutive week, but he did gain over 100 yards and has now eclipsed that mark in all five games this season. This week he will face the Steelers, who have been excellent at defending the pass but have allowed the third-most FanDuel points to opposing running backs this season.
Wide Receiver
DeAndre Hopkins (HOU): $12,500 vs. CLE
DeAndre Hopkins was pretty silent in the first half last week, but playing him ultimately paid off with a couple of late, garbage time touchdowns when the game was already way out of hand. Hopkins will likely see a decent amount of Jason McCourty, who is a really good cornerback. However, Hopkins is an elite wide receiver who is averaging 12 targets per game this season.
Larry Fitzgerald (ARI): $9,000 vs. TB
Larry Fitzgerald has only had one big game this season, but he is a pretty safe cash game option to use on a weekly basis considering he has averaged over 10 targets per game this year. Fitzgerald has a golden matchup this week against the Buccaneers. Fitzgerald will likely see a lot of Robert McClain, who is the Buccaneers slot cornerback. According to Pro Football Focus, McClain is the 107th graded cornerback out of 110.
