If you happen to see any of my family or friends (if I have any left) who are asking whether or not I’m still alive, send them my best. We’re now through five weeks of the season and considering it’s the Wednesday before Week 6, I think it’s fair to say that we’re exactly one-third through the season. All of those strength of schedule articles look foolish now, because teams are playing better or worse than we thought they would to start the year.
Here are my early Week 6 rankings, which will be updated as we go throughout the week. As I’ve said in the past, rankings don’t show or explain everything, but rather give you a snapshot of what thoughts might look like in condensed form. If you’re like me and would prefer to find out why a player is where they are in the rankings, you need to check out The Primer, which comes out every Thursday, detailing every fantasy player’s matchup from every single game. It’s around 20,000 words, so you won’t have to worry about condensed form like rankings. Follow me on Twitter @MikeTagliereNFL to get notified right when that article goes up. Until then, enjoy the snapshot of my thoughts on Week 6.
