NFL DFS Stacking Options for Week 7

NFL DFS Stacking Options for Week 7

Week 7 in the NFL presents the rare opportunity for a QB/RB/WR stack. Without many games expected to be too high scoring outside of the Sunday and Monday night matchups, we should be looking for games that could become blowouts and load up on one side with both the passing game and running game against a poor defense. The Cowboys coming off a bye with Ezekiel Elliott still working around his looming suspension offer the right combination of star players to pull it off.

Note: All salaries are from FanDuel but stacks can be considered for any DFS site.

So, with that let’s stack’em up for Week 7.

QB Dak Prescott (DAL): $8,400 / RB Ezekiel Elliott (DAL): $8,700 / WR Dez Bryant (DAL): $8,200
The Cowboys are road favorites with one of the highest Vegas implied point totals on the Sun”day” slate of games. They are coming off of a bye and will travel to San Francisco to face a 49ers’ defense that has allowed 277 passing yards per game and rank 26th against the pass according to FootballOutsiders’ DVOA rankings. Dez Bryant has been solid but is still waiting for his breakout two-touchdown performance which could come this week. After Dak Prescott and Bryant take to the air to build a lead then look for Elliott to pile up the carries in the second half. Elliott could also get some work in the passing game against a 49ers’ defense that ranks 30th DVOA against pass catching RBs.

Bring it back with: Pierre Garcon (SF): $6,700

QB Jared Goff (LAR): $7,300 / WR Robert Woods (LAR): $5,500
If you are looking for an inexpensive, low-owned stack then consider the Rams. The Rams’ have scored 27 points or more in four out of six games this season and could get into a shootout with the Cardinals this week. The Cardinals’ run defense has been strong this season so Jared Goff will need to look to the air to move the ball and put up points. With Patrick Peterson likely covering Sammy Watkins, look for Robert Woods to be the big beneficiary. Woods is already leading the Rams in targets, receptions and yards this season and this could be the week he finds the end zone against a Cardinals’ secondary that has allowed 1.5 touchdown receptions to opposing WRs this season which ranks 28th in the league.

Bring it back with: Larry Fitzgerald (ARI): $7,500

QB Tom Brady (NE): $9,200 / WR Danny Amendola (NE): $6,200
If you are playing a slate that includes the Sunday night matchup between the Patriots and Falcons then be sure to get as much exposure to the game as possible. The game has a 55-point Vegas total which is a touchdown more points than the next highest total on the slate. As I have stated in previous articles, I like to get the QB (Tom Brady) that spreads the ball around, pair him with a cheap WR (Danny Amendola) on his own team and then bring it back with a high target share WR (Julio Jones) on the opposing team.

Bring it back with:  Julio Jones (ATL): $8,800

RB Leonard Fournette (JAC): $9,000 / DEF Jacksonville Jaguars: $5,400
I am going with what I expect to be a chalky RB/DEF stack this week. Leonard Fournette has been sensational this season scoring in every game and topping 130 rushing yards in each of his last two games. He gets another favorable matchup this week against a Colts’ run defense that has allowed one rushing touchdown per game (31st) and 4.5 YPC over the last five games to opposing RBs. Fournette also has a favorable game script with the Jaguars as a small road favorite. The Jaguars’ defense has also been sensational this season leading the league in sacks and turnovers forced while finding the end zone multiple times.

RB Jerick McKinnon (MIN): $7,000 / DEF Minnesota Vikings: $4,700
If you’re looking to save some salary with your RB/DEF stack then give the Vikings a try. The Vikings will be at home as a solid favorite against the Ravens with a low Vegas point total. Jerick McKinnon‘s salary is finally on the rise but he has still far exceeded value over the last two weeks with at least 20 touches in each game and three touchdowns. The Ravens’ run defense ranks 30th in yards allowed per game to opposing RBs (124.5). The Vikings’ defense typically plays better at home and will get a Ravens’ offense that has coughed up the ball twice per game this season while also allowing two sacks per game.
