DRAFT NFL Lineup Advice: Week 13 (Thur/Sun/Mon)

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We hope our advice helped stuff your DRAFT accounts with winnings.

Keenan Allen produced another solid outing and we recommended the running backs from New Orleans. Alvin Kamara had a field day against the Rams.

Now, on to the Week 13 rankings…

Quarterback

1. Tom Brady, Patriots (@ Bills)
2. Kirk Cousins, Redskins (@ Cowboys)
3. Russell Wilson, Seahawks (vs. Eagles)
4. Carson Wentz, Eagles (@ Seahawks)
5. Cam Newton, Panthers (@ Saints)
6. Philip Rivers, Chargers (vs. Browns)
7. Jared Goff, Rams (@ Cardinals)
8. Drew Brees, Saints (vs. Panthers)
9. Tyrod Taylor, Bills (vs. Patriots)
10. Matt Ryan, Falcons (vs. Vikings)

“Is he really going back to Kirk Cousins after last week’s performance?” Yes! I know he didn’t do much in the first half, but Cousins still threw for two TDs. Also, did you see Philip Rivers against the Cowboys? Rivers compiled 434 passing yards and three TDs on only 33 passing attempts. Dallas has allowed opposing QBs to throw at least two TDs in four-straight games, as well.

In your three-entry contests, it will be a tough call between Russell Wilson and Carson Wentz as your final QB. Also, Buffalo is allowing the second-fewest passing TDs this season, so Tom Brady isn’t a slam dunk as the first quarterback option (more reasons to take Cousins). I have Wilson a tad higher in the rankings because Seattle’s running game is lacking. Basically, Wilson is the QB and RB for the team. However, I can’t fault you for taking the quarterback of the favored winner. Philadelphia is projected to score 26.5 points, according to Vegas, which is the third-most in the Week 13 slate.

Running back

1. Le’Veon Bell, Steelers (@ Bengals)
2. Todd Gurley, Rams (@ Cardinals)
3. Alvin Kamara, Saints (vs. Panthers)
4. Leonard Fournette, Jaguars (vs. Colts)
5. Mark Ingram, Saints (vs. Panthers)
6. Melvin Gordon, Chargers (vs. Browns)
7. LeSean McCoy, Bills (vs. Patriots)
8. Jordan Howard, Bears (vs. 49ers)
9. Carlos Hyde, 49ers (@ Bears)
10. Jamaal Williams, Packers (vs. Buccaneers)
11. Christian McCaffrey, Panthers (@ Saints)
12. Samaje Perine, Redskins (@ Cowboys)
13. Kareem Hunt, Chiefs (@ Jets)
14. Dion Lewis, Patriots (@ Bills)
15. Devonta Freeman, Falcons (vs. Vikings)
16. Lamar Miller, Texans (@ Titans)
17. Marshawn Lynch, Raiders (vs. Giants)
18. Alex Collins, Ravens (vs. Lions)
19. Latavius Murray, Vikings (@ Falcons)
20. Kenyan Drake, Dolphins (vs. Broncos)

Just when I’m ready to throw in the towel on Leonard Fournette and move him down the list, he gets a matchup against the Colts. He missed this game in Week 7 with an injury and it was T.J. Yeldon who stepped up and flourished: nine carries 122 yards, and one TD. Fournette could get those stats in the first quarter against Indianapois, if he wanted.

Another guy I just can’t quit is Melvin Gordon. I ranked him high for Thanksgiving. And, while his Chargers scored 28 points, he was held out of the end zone. However, he’s been scoring in every other game since Week 6. So, going by that logic, he’s due to find pay dirt this week. Also, Cleveland has allowed the opposing running back to notch at least 110 rushing yards in back-to-back games (Fournette and Joe Mixon).

Wide receiver/Tight end

1. Antonio Brown, Steelers (@ Bengals)
2. DeAndre Hopkins, Texans (@ Titans)
3. Mike Evans, Buccaneers (@ Packers)
4. Keenan Allen, Chargers (vs. Browns)
5. Adam Thielen, Vikings (@ Falcons)
6. A.J. Green, Bengals (vs. Steelers)
7. Julio Jones, Falcons (vs. Vikings)
8. Brandin Cooks, Patriots (@ Bills)
9. Michael Thomas, Saints (vs. Panthers)
10. Doug Baldwin, Seahawks (vs. Eagles)
11. Davante Adams, Packers (vs. Buccaneers)
12. Rob Gronkowski, Patriots (@ Bills)
13. Alshon Jeffery, Eagles (@ Seahawks)
14. Tyreek Hill, Chiefs (@ Jets)
15. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (@ Jets)
16. Zach Ertz, Eagles (@ Seahawks)
17. Devin Funchess, Panthers (@ Saints)
18. Jamison Crowder, Redskins (@ Cowboys)
19. Robby Anderson, Jets (vs. Chiefs)
20. Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals (vs. Rams)

Tom Brady, Le’Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown are No. 1 staples almost every week in these rankings. This week, I nearly bumped Brown down to third. DeAndre Hopkins and Mike Evans will make a run at the top spot in Week 13, and you need to make sure that you have at least one of those WRs in your DRAFT lineup.

Hopkins already faced this weak Titans secondary in Week 4. He tallied 10 catches for 107 yards and one TD.

Evans will get Jameis Winston back this week against the Packers. Green Bay is allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Antonio Brown torched them for 169 yards and two TDs on 10 catches on Sunday night. Now, Evans will get his chance.

For a late-round sleeper, stay in the TB/GB game and look towards Davante Adams. With Brett Hundley as the QB, Adams has emerged as the No. 1 target. He’s recorded at least 80 receiving yards in three-straight games and has also scored two TDs during that span. The Bucs are allowing the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers, too.
