Welcome again to the Friday edition of my FanDuel values column. Every Friday here at FantasyPros I will give my tops plays under $5,500. Let’s get started…

Point Guard
Rajon Rondo (NO) $4,200 @ DEN
Rondo is still on a minute restriction and is expected to get between 20-24 minutes Friday night. While that isn’t a ton of minutes, he did have four points, two rebounds and a whopping eight assists in only 14 minutes two nights ago. At only $4,200, Rondo should log plenty of minutes to put up some good production, as the Nuggets are the second worst team in defending the point guard position. Rondo will be locked into my lineups Friday night despite the minute restriction.
Shooting Guard
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (LAL) $5,300 vs PHO
The Lakers are always a good source of value, and tonight they have two guys I like. Caldwell-Pope draws the start over the next guy on this list, and he is very capable of filling up the box score. Though he isn’t quite the scorer that his backup is, he does average just over 25 FanDuel points and is a good bet to hit that this evening in a plus matchup with the Suns.
Jordan Clarkson (LAL) $5,100 vs PHO
Clarkson doesn’t start, but he still gets starter minutes. His upside is higher than Caldwell-Pope’s, but he also has a lower floor. Clarkson has been on fire for the last two games scoring 36.1 and 40.7 FanDuel points respectively, and the Suns allow 43.45 FanDuel points to shooting guards — fourth worst in the league.
Small Forward
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (CHA) $4,900 @ CHI
Kidd-Gilchrist is always a hard player to figure out. He will go out and do what he did against the Cavs the other night and score 22 NBA points and other times will look completely inept on offense. He does, however, play good defense and is a decent rebounder. At $4,900, he should be able to do enough to hit cash game value. His upside is limited, so I would avoid him in tournaments.
Joe Ingles (UTA) $5,500 @ BKN
Ingles was one of my favorite early season values, but his price continued to climb to a point that I no longer wanted to use him. His upside is limited, but he put up 31.7 Fanduel points the last time he played the Nets a week ago, and there is no reason to think he can’t do it again. The Nets give up 45.45 FanDuel points to small forwards — third worst in the league. Like Kidd-Gilchrist, Ingles is not a tournament play due to his limited upside.
Power Forward
Taj Gibson (MIN) $4,900 @ DAL
Gibson has logged 30 or more minutes in seven of his last nine games and has five double-doubles in those seven games. Tonight he gets a Mavericks team ranked as the second worst team against the power forward position, giving up — on average — 53.19 FanDuel points per game.
Center
Greg Monroe (PHO) $3,700 @ LAL
Monroe drew his first start in a Suns uniform last night, in fact, it was his first game as a Sun period. I don’t have final numbers to give you from his game last night because the game is still being played as I write this. With 6:40 to go in the third quarter he has 25 Fanduel points, which already far exceeds his $3,700 price. He gets a plus matchup with the Lakers tonight, and should easily reach five-times value at $3,700.
