NFL DFS Stacking Options for Week 14

NFL DFS Stacking Options for Week 14

Welcome to all the season-long fantasy players that didn’t make the playoffs this season. Now is a great time to give DFS a try if you haven’t already with four more weeks of regular season action plus the first couple rounds of playoffs to build NFL DFS lineups and try to take home some cash. These are my top stacks for Week 14 so fire up a GPP lineup or two and plug them in along with your other favorite plays.

Note: All salaries are from FanDuel, but stacks can be considered for any DFS site.

So, with that let’s stack’em up for Week 14.

QB Alex Smith (KC): $8,200 / WR Tyreek Hill (KC): $7,800 / TE Travis Kelce (KC): $8,000
I almost recommended this stack last week. At least I did mention Tyreek Hill in my “bonus” stack, so maybe you got a little piece of it. Can lightning strike two weeks in a row?

The matchup and Vegas seem to think it’s possible. The Raiders rank 32nd DVOA against the pass according to Football Outsiders this season and have allowed 263 yards and 2.3 touchdown passes per game over the last five weeks. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce saw over 50% of the targets from Alex Smith last week and with the division lead on the line be assured they will be heavily targeted again against a beatable Raiders’ secondary that gave up 342 passing yards and three scores in their first meeting.

Bring it back with: Michael Crabtree (OAK): $7,100

QB Dak Prescott (DAL): $7,700 / WR Dez Bryant (DAL): $7,200
Dak Prescott has been miserable since Ezekiel Elliott finally started serving his suspension four weeks ago. In those four games, Prescott hasn’t topped 200 passing yards and has a total of two touchdown passes. Okay, that’s enough of the reasons why a Prescott and Dez Bryant stack is a bad idea.

Stacking them is a good idea this week because they play the Giants who just benched Eli Manning last week and fired their coach. The Giants defense is dropping like flies and has allowed 272 passing yards and 1.8 touchdown passes per game over the previous five weeks.

Also, Manning is back under center this week, which should allow the Giants to keep pace with the Cowboys, forcing Prescott to keep looking to score on offense. This game is very stackable, and I recommend bringing it back with both Sterling Shepard and Evan Engram on the other side, while also considering a reverse stack using Manning at QB.

Bring it back with: Sterling Shepard (NYG): $6,400 and Evan Engram (NYG): $6,600

QB Jimmy Garoppolo (SF): $7,000 / WR Marquise Goodwin (SF): $5,700
While Jimmy Garoppolo did not have the best fantasy day last week against the Bears since he didn’t generate any touchdowns, he did play very well completing over 70% of his passes for 293 yards. This week he gets a Texans’ defense that has been reeling since they lost some key defensive players as they have given up at least 20 points in six straight games.

Garoppolo’s top target last week was Marquise Goodwin who snagged all eight of his targets for 99 yards. The Garoppolo/Goodwin connection won’t break the bank either allowing you to pay up at other positions such as bringing it back with target monster DeAndre Hopkins.

Bring it back with:  DeAndre Hopkins (HOU): $8,600

RB LeSean McCoy (BUF): $9,00 / DEF Buffalo Bills: $5,300
LeSean McCoy has performed much better at home compared to on the road this season, averaging 114 total yards per game at home with three touchdowns compared to just 78 yards on the road with two touchdowns. McCoy will be at home this week in a game that he should get a high volume of touches with question marks at QB, a favorable matchup against the Colts who have allowed the sixth most points to opposing RBs and a positive game script with the Bills at home. Couple him with a Bills’ defense that will face the Colts who have given up the most sacks and defensive touchdowns in the league this season.

RB Giovani Bernard (CIN): $5,100 / DEF Cincinnati Bengals: $4,600
If you want a value stack, then look no further than Giovani Bernard and the Bengals defense. Bernard will get a big increased workload this week with Joe Mixon out. Bernard looked good in his 13 carries last week piling up 77 yards and catching two balls for 19 yards.

He should have fresh legs after only totaling 53 touches through the first 12 weeks and will face a banged-up Bears’ defense that has allowed 111 rushing yards per game to opposing RBs over the last five weeks. Bengals are almost a touchdown favorite playing at home in a game with a Vegas total under 40 points.
