We have a seven-game slate over on FanDuel tonight to kick off the weekend. There are nine players priced above $9,000 with Kevin Durant sitting at the top at $10,500. The Warriors and Celtics will face off in an exciting matchup in Golden State, while the Pacers get an elite home matchup against the Magic tonight. Victor Oladipo is the top overall play on the slate and having exposure to the Warriors and Celtics game will be crucial, with the secondary options on the Celtics potentially being the key to a big pay day.

Since I am going to target Oladipo and a few Warriors and Celtics, having exposure to strong value plays will be essential to putting up a big score. Here are a few value plays, $5,500 or less, at each position that will free up some salary so we can afford our stud players.

Point Guard

Darren Collison (IND): $5,400 vs. ORL
Collison has been in great form and has an ideal matchup against the Magic tonight. Over the past four games, Collison has averaged 34.3 FD points while racking up an average of 3.8 blocks and steals per game. The Magic have been subpar on the defensive end all season long, ranking 26^th in defensive efficiency rating and allowing the most FD points to point guards this season. They also give up a combined 2.87 blocks and steals to the point guard position, which is the most in the NBA. If Collison has a decent night on the offensive end and can rack up a few blocks and steals, he makes for a great mid-range option at the point guard position.

Terry Rozier (BOS): $3,800 at GSW
With Marcus Smart out of the lineup for the next few weeks, Terry Rozier stands to be the biggest beneficiary in his absence. In his first game with Smart out of the lineup, Rozier put up 30.6 FD points in 24 minutes of action. While the Warriors are tough on opposing point guards, giving up the 12^th fewest points to PGs this season, tonight’s game represents a nice bump in pace for the Celtics as the Warriors play at the fourth quickest pace in the league. Rozier will be (and should be) one of the most popular value plays on tonight’s slate.

Shooting Guard

Kent Bazemore (ATL): $5,300 vs. WAS
Bazemore has not been in the best form lately, averaging 24.3 FD points over the past four games. However, his minutes have still been fairly consistent, and he is coming off a 39.4 FD point outing against the Hornets last night. Bazemore will be tasked with guarding Bradley Beal on the defensive end, which should guarantee him 25-30 minutes in this game. On the other side of the ball, Beal is not a great defender ranking 47^th out of 106 SGs in DRPM this season. Bazemore has flashed 35 to 40 FDP upside on multiple occasions this season and could be low owned. He makes for an interesting contrarian option in tournaments.

Jamal Crawford (MIN): $4,200 vs. BKN
Over the past few games, Crawford has shown signs of life on the offensive end, putting up 28.3 FD points across 22.9 minutes per game. The Nets rank 26^th in FD points allowed to the SG position this season and 19^th in defensive efficiency rating. Crawford has a solid 24.9% usage rate off the bench and would be leaned on more heavily for scoring if Jimmy Butler is forced to miss another game tonight. The bottom of the shooting guard position is pretty thin, so Crawford stands out as a nice value play.

Small Forward

Jaylen Brown (BOS): $5,300 at GSW
The Celtics secondary players will all stand to benefit from a pace-up matchup against the Warriors tonight. While Jaylen Brown has underperformed over the past few weeks, averaging 24.0 FD points per game, his price is fair and he should be locked in to 30 minutes against the Warriors. Despite a lack of production over the past five games, Brown is still averaging 11.8 shot attempts per game in that span. He will be a solid value play at his price point on tonight’s slate.

Bojan Bogdanovic (IND): $4,400 vs. ORL
Bogdanovic went through a rough patch during the end of December and most of January, but he has turned things around recently. In the past four games, Bogdanovic has averaged 25.5 FD points per game while attempting 10.8 shots per game. The Magic are ranked 6^th in FD points allowed to SFs this season and Jonathan Simmons is atrocious on the defensive end, ranking 86^th out of 86 SFs in DRPM. Statistically speaking, that’s not good. Bogdanovic is in a great spot tonight and has a very fair price tag.

Power Forward

Jayson Tatum (BOS): $5,000 at GSW
This is the third (and final) Celtic that I am writing up. As you can see, I’m a big fan of this spot against the Warriors tonight as the Celtics players are all priced fairly. Tatum sees a 1.4% bump in usage without Marcus Smart on the floor this season and is coming off of a 30.7 FD point outing against the Clippers on Thursday night. In addition to being in a pace up spot, he will likely be going up against Kevin Durant on both sides of the ball. Foul trouble could potentially be a concern, but Tatum is a superstar in the making and he should be able to rise to occasion on a big stage. He is one of my favorite tournament plays on tonight’s slate.

Markieff Morris (WAS): $5,000 at ATL
Morris torched the Thunder for 36.8 FD points on Thursday night and subsequently received a $600 bump in price. Despite the increase in price, Morris is still extremely playable tonight. The Hawks have given up the 11th most FD points to PFs this season and Ersan Ilyasova is a slow-footed defender, ranking 73^rd out of 97 PFs in DRPM. The Hawks and Wizards also rank 12^th and 13^th in pace, respectively, this season so Morris should have plenty of opportunities on the offensive end.

Center

Mason Plumlee (DEN): $5,500 vs. DAL
Plumlee has seen a nice bump in minutes over the past two games and production has followed. In matchups against the Blazers and Knicks, Plumlee has averaged 33.6 FD points across 26.1 minutes per game. The Mavericks have given up the 12^th most points to centers this season and they are ranked 30^th in defensive rebounding %. Plumlee’s price has started to climb, but he has picked up his game and has an elite matchup against the Mavericks tonight. He will be a low-owned, contrarian option at the center position.
