DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice: Saturday (2/10) PREMIUM
While the Winter Olympics are always fun to watch, until there is Olympics DFS most of my attention will still be focused on the hardwood of the NBA. Saturday’s DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice column will take on a little bit of a different look since there is only one player priced over $10,000 and I’m actually not recommending playing him (Giannis Antetokounmpo). Instead, look to take a more balanced approach with your lineup construction using some high-mid range salary players as your core followed up with a nice group of value options. So, instead of “One Stud” you get a bonus “Core Play” option to help round out your DFS lineup on DraftKings for Saturday night.
Note that some of the stats referenced in this article are my custom DvP calculations that combine both season and last five games data along with blending similar positions production allowed together.
Nikola Jokic (C – DEN): $9,300 @ PHO
The center position is reasonably difficult to fill on Saturday’s six-game slate. With Joel Embiid on the second game of a back-to-back, he could be rested or limited which only leaves us with Nikola Jokic as a high-end option. Jokic’s all-around game has allowed him to reach 40-plus DraftKings points in eight of his last 10 games and while he is on the second game of a back-to-back himself, he only played 22 minutes on Friday so he should be set for a full complement of minutes in a neutral matchup against the Suns who Jokic has averaged a solid 14.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists against in two previous meetings this season.
