Ah, yes, baseball is back! Thursday was the way the MLB Opening Day was meant to be with all teams (minus a couple PPDs) playing with numerous standout performances and some unexpected outcomes. I will be providing MLB DFS articles three days per week here at FantasyPros this season, starting off with Friday’s FanDuel Lineup Advice column.
I was unsure if I would like FanDuel’s new lineup structure where they combined the catcher and first base position and opened up a new utility spot. However, I have to say that the additional roster (and stacking) flexibility that it provides is tremendous. Sure, I’m a little saddened that I will possibly never roster a catcher again on FanDuel, but I’ll get over it. Overall, my lineup advice will take on more of a Cash game look but by utilizing some of my “Other Notables” options you could easily turn it into a GPP lineup with some stacks and high risk/reward plays.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time.
