There are 11 games scheduled in the NHL for tonight’s slate. With so many great expensive options, finding the right value players will be extremely important. With less than a month remaining in the regular season, teams are dealing with injuries and giving extra ice-time to their prospects. There is a lot of value out there, so let’s take a look at some of the better options.

Center
Tyler Bozak (TOR): $4,600 @ TB
Two playoff-bound teams from the East will face off tonight in what should be a great game to watch. Lately, the Tampa Bay Lightning have uncharacteristically allowed quite a few goals against. Allowing 30 goals against in the last eight games, Toronto will need to lean on their offense in a high-paced game. Since the Auston Matthews injury, Tyler Bozak has taken advantage of top unit powerplay ice time. This has lead to more points and more fantasy production. This game should see a lot of offense and at just $4,600, Bozak is a great value play.
Wing
Ty Rattie (EDM): $3,500 @ CAR
The Edmonton Oilers are in the midst of a west coast road trip and are trying out prospect Ty Rattie. The right-winger has been playing alongside Connor McDavid recently and has found some chemistry early. With two goals in two games, Rattie could be one of the best minimum priced players skating tonight. In addition to playing with McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (another first-overall pick), Ty Rattie will also log time on the second power-play unit. The Carolina Hurricanes are not a great team and will struggle to stop Edmonton’s top line. Rattie will be highly owned at this price but is hard to fade in cash games.
Elias Lindholm (CAR): $4,500 vs. EDM
In the same game, winger Elias Lindholm is a great value option as well. Lindholm has been promoted to the top forward line as Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen will slot in on the second line. Lindholm will also continue to play on the top power-play unit against a team who is undisciplined and own the 28th ranked penalty kill. Neither team is very defensive and own very high Corsi numbers. This game should be a high-scoring event with a lot of shots and goal-scoring opportunities.
Defense
Nick Leddy (NYI): $4,800 vs. PIT
Although the Islanders are wrapping up a disappointing season, they will be fighting to play “spoiler” and pull off a win against the Penguins. Pittsburgh has an incredibly talented offensive team, but take far too many penalties (9.5 minutes per game) and do not have shutdown defensemen. The Islanders should have plenty of great scoring chances both during even strength and on the power-play. Nick Leddy is the top offensive defenseman on the Islanders and will see plenty of ice-time in an up-tempo game. Leddy takes a lot of shots, blocks shots, and chips in on points. With a high floor and ceiling, Nick Leddy is one of the top defensive options on the board tonight, regardless of price.
Goalie
Semyon Varlamov (COL): $7,900 @ CHI
The Avalanche are currently sitting on the bubble of the playoff picture in the Western Conference fighting for every possible win. The Blackhawks are seemingly tanking the rest of the season losing five of their last six and now sitting in 14th place in the West. Semyon Varlamov is curiously mispriced in a game the Avalanche should dominate from start to finish. The only piece which should consider a second thought is the fact that the game is being played at the Mad House on Maddison in Chicago, one of the harder places to play as a road team. However, the Avs should bring their “A” game and win this important contest.
