This Thursday, we have a six-game day slate which should bring a ton of offense. There are just a couple of pitchers in the top-tier worth looking at to roster, otherwise, a lot of hitters to like. Weather will play a factor in the games scheduled as we may see a postponed game in Chicago. Hopefully not though. Let’s take a look at some of the better players at each position on DraftKings.

Pitcher

David Price (BOS): $12,100 vs. TB
The veteran lefty had a great showing six days ago against this same Tampa Bay team. Going five innings with five strikeouts and zero earned runs was good for 27.4 DraftKings points. We should expect something similar in the Boston home opener later today. The question is if he is worth this hefty price tag? On a normal slate, definitely not. But with so many poor pitching options available, Price needs to be a top cash-game consideration.

James Paxton (SEA): $9,600 @ MIN
The matchup is not great, but the pitching options are limited and Paxton is arguably the most talented starter on this slate. In 2017, we witnessed a bit of a coming out party for the Mariners ace who owned a 28.3% strikeout rate to go along with a 3.45 SIERA and 7.8 HR/FB ratio. Paxton had a tough outing last time out, but should right the ship in what will be an extremely cold game in Minnesota.
