Wednesday’s DraftKings Lineup Advice column will focus on the five-game evening slate. Much like Tuesday night, you will need to keep an eye on where the raindrops are falling as the games in Washington and Atlanta are at risk which could turn this into a three-game slate and knock out a bunch of good hitting and pitching options. Despite the small slate of games, there is a lot of star-power on the mound with a trio of high-priced aces taking the hill.

Chris Sale (BOS): $11,800 vs. OAK
Chris Sale has found his fastball velocity in his last two starts and oh what a difference it makes with a total of 27 strikeouts in those two outings. Sale’s fastball velocity had been ranging between 91-94 mph all season until it spiked up into the 96-97 mph range in his last two starts. A few miles per hour makes a big difference as Sale will look to continue his dominance against the visiting Athletics on Wednesday. Sale is a huge Vegas favorite and has had a lot of success against A’s hitters in his career allowing just a .276 wOBA with a 30.0% strikeout rate in 90 plate appearances. If the weather cooperates in Washington, Max Scherzer is also an elite option worth paying up for.
