As usual, we have a full 15-game MLB slate on Friday night. Also, as usual, there are plenty of different ways you can construct your DFS lineups on such a big slate. If you have read any of my articles this season, you will likely know that I like to get the cheapest pitcher that I trust along with a bunch of mini hitting stacks for my cash game lineups when possible. Friday night sets up nicely for that type of lineup construction.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS. Pitcher
Ross Stripling (LAD): $9,100 vs. SF
Stripling has been dealing for the Dodgers this season including producing 42 or more FanDuel points in each of his last five starts. Stripling is a big Vegas favorite on Friday pitching at home against the division-rival Giants. The Giants have the fifth highest strikeout rate (24.7%) against righties over the last 30 days, while Stripling has recorded at least six strikeouts in six straight starts. Corey Kluber and James Paxton are both solid options but give me the cheaper Stripling with a similar floor and some upside so I can fit in some bigger bats.
