Summer is in full swing with the first weekend in June upon us and things are starting to heat up for the boys of summer. Saturday’s FanDuel Lineup Advice will focus in on the eight-game evening slate of MLB action. We have another game at Coors Field and there is another solid list of big-name pitchers to consider as well. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you like to look at it, the prices of bats at Coors Field and starting pitchers are very reasonable which allows us to jam them all in if you spend wisely.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. Pitcher
Zack Greinke (ARI): $9,100 vs. MIA
Sure, I have some interest in Justin Verlander and Jacob deGrom but they both have a tough matchup so once again I’ll look to save a few bucks and get a value ace pitcher with Greinke pitching at home against the Marlins. Greinke has been sensational at home this season with a 1.69 ERA while allowing just a .237 wOBA with a 26.1% strikeout rate in the humidor aided Chase Field. He is a decent sized Vegas favorite against a Marlins team that has the ninth highest strikeout rate (24.0%) against righties this season while ranking in the bottom three in wOBA (.282) and wRC+ (77).
