We’ve got a nine-game featured slate tonight on DraftKings, with a quartet of high-priced pitchers and some relatively low expected totals. TEX @ BOS and CIN @ CLE are tied for the highest total, each with a 9.5 O/U. WAS @ PIT is the only other game above 8.5 with a 9.0 O/U. It’s worth noting that NYY @ BAL and PHI @ NYM, while scheduled to start around 7:05 EST, are not on the featured slate because they are both part of a doubleheader.

Jose Berrios (MIN): $12,100 vs. KC
If we’re paying for high priced pitching then Berrios is the way to go on this slate. He takes on the Kansas City Royals, who have been anemic offensively against right-handed pitching this season. The Royals have the second worst wOBA (.287) and ISO (.123) in the majors versus right-handed pitchers. In terms of wOBA and ISO this rates as a better matchup than Clayton Kershaw ($12,900) against the Padres. The lack of power in the Royals’ lineup helps mask Berrios’ biggest flaw, the long ball. In tournaments, it looks like a good idea to fade the top pitching options tonight, but in cash games, Berrios should be rock solid.
