Week 15 Fantasy Baseball Rankings

Week 15 Fantasy Baseball Rankings

We are officially past the mid-point of the MLB season, and while there a number of us who are hanging on, the majority of fantasy baseball owners have started to see their zeal for their roster fade. That’s ok though because that’s where I come in. Each week, I build my rankings for you based on injuries, ballparks, matchups and playing time trends. Even more so, Coors and two-start pitchers throw the rankings for a loop. Let’s dive into my rankings for week 15 of the fantasy baseball season.

Coors Field Watch

The Rockies wrapped up last week on the road, but will return home to Coors for the entire week. First, the Diamondbacks are coming to town, then Seattle makes a trip to Denver for three games. As you might imagine, hitters from all three teams will get a substantial boost in projections, and thus rankings this coming week. Pitchers’ rankings from these teams will, of course, depend on what day of the week they are scheduled to pitch.

Two-Start Risers

This week gives us 40 two-start pitchers to work with. Of course, 12 of them are entirely unusable and another 10 can only be used in one start. Speaking of which, the top one-start streamers from this group will be Danny Duffy against the Chicago White Sox and Zack Wheeler at home against the Phillies. With 22 pitchers gone, that leaves us with 18 who can and should be used in both of their starts this week. Among them, 8 are must-starts every time they take the mound including (gulp) Patrick Corbin at Coors this week and Mike Clevinger versus the Yankees. We are now down to 10, who aren’t always startable, but should do the trick in both outings this week. Let’s take a look at their matchups.

Now let’s shift our attention to my full player rankings for the week.
