A couple of National League West southpaws and a burgeoning righty headline the pitching options. A lefty masher and rookie outfielder who’s played well in the shadow of more esteemed rookie outfielders Ronald Acuna and Juan Soto get the nod as one-off plays. The remaining hitting selections are a four-man stack that’s packed with a thump.

Patrick Corbin (ARI): $10,800 @ Padres
Among the five-figure hurlers, Corbin’s my favorite. The southpaw draws a soft matchup with the Friars tonight. San Diego ranks tied for 21st in wRC+ (87) against southpaws, per FanGraphs, with a tantalizing 23.8% K%. They’ve also been dreadful at home this year, ranking tied for 27th in wRC+ (89) with an even more tantalizing 24.7% K%. San Diego’s propensity for swinging and missing plays right into Corbin’s hands. The 29-year-old lefty has a 31.0% K% and 15.4% SwStr% this year. Those marks jump to a 32.0% K% and 17.4% SwStr% in the second half. The Diamondbacks are -144 favorites and the Padres have a team over/under total of only three runs, according to Pinnacle.
