DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Monday (9/17)

We’ve got a 12-game Monday slate on the final Monday of the regular season, which is a relatively large slate for a Monday. There is a Coors Field game on this slate, and predictably it boasts the highest expected total with PHI @ COL having an 11.0 O/U. No other game has an O/U higher than 9.0 as of writing this, but four games don’t have a total yet either.

Pitchers

Stephen Strasburg (WAS): $10,700 vs. MIA
In his start against the Marlins last week Strasburg racked up 11 strikeouts and 30.7 DraftKings points, yet his price only went up $500 in salary. Strasburg has allowed two or fewer runs in his last five starts and appears to be back in ace form. He takes on a team that has a .291 wOBA, 23% strikeout rate, and .123 ISO against right-handed pitching. Strasburg should have no problem duplicating his great performance against this team.

Nathan Eovaldi (BOS): $7,300 vs. BAL
Taking on the Orioles at home is about as good as it gets for a starting pitcher. Baltimore has struggled against righties for a .304 wOBA, 23.4% strikeout rate, and 90 wRC+ this season. They are the worst team in baseball and Eovaldi has the mighty Red Sox lineup backing him. Eovaldi has been serviceably above average this season with a 3.98 ERA, 3.89 FIP, and 4.35 K/BB ratio. That is a more than acceptable baseline against a lineup of Baltimore’s quality.
