Last week was a wild one with 1% owned Ryan Fitzpatrick and Bucs’ #4 receiver, DeSean Jackson (no really, look at the snap counts) carrying DFS lineups to huge paydays. We’ve got plenty more in store for this weekend including an AFC Championship Game rematch between the Jaguars and the Patriots. One of the ways we can begin to sort out the DFS slate is to look at projected ownership rates. It gives us an indication of where the value is and how they will invest their hard earned money. Today, I’ll show you our projections for the top-five players at each position that we expect to be most owned.

Quarterback
While there won’t be much differentiation among quarterbacks for ownership rates this week, it will likely be cheaper plays who lead the way. Patrick Mahomes and Alex Smith are both priced to use and expected to throw plenty of passes in potential shootouts. On the flip side of the Mahomes game with a 52 point over/under will be Big Ben Roethlisberger who joined Drew Brees as the top expensive plays of the week. Rounding out the top five should be Deshaun Watson, who despite the rough Week 1 will continue to be a hot GPP play most weeks, especially with a deflated price.
