With just a little over a week to go it the MLB regular season, there are teams clinching playoff spots and getting eliminated from contention nearly every day. So, continue to pay close attention to starting lineups and any news of pitchers taking it easy as they prepare for playoff rotations.
Another thing to watch this time of year is the weather as temperatures start to cool off and in the case of Friday night’s 14-game slate, the winds start to pick up blowing in the cooler air. There is one spot in particular on the evening slate that has caught my attention with the winds blowing out and a home-run prone pitcher on the bump.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time.
