FanDuel MLB Lineup Advice: Friday (9/28) PREMIUM
This is it! You made it! With the MLB regular season in the last weekend, this will be my final MLB DFS article of the season. There have been some good days and some bad days along the way but hopefully, you enjoyed my baseball columns this season and made a little bit of money along the way.
My final FanDuel lineup recommendation takes a little bit of a different approach then I typically deploy but in the final days of the season, strange things can happen. So, I’ll be giving priority to my hitters on Friday’s 13-game night slate with a full-on pricey stack while rolling the dice on the mound and with my final couple lineup spots. Go big or go home!
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. Tyler Glasnow (TB): $6,900 vs. TOR
With watered down lineups and players with one foot out the door, there is always some pitcher in the final few games of the regular season that puts together a career-defining performance that he never repeats again. The pitcher that has the capability to be “that guy” on Friday’s slate is Glasnow. He has shown some progress since joining the Rays at the trade deadline with a 3.53 xFIP and a 27.5% strikeout rate over 10 starts. He has faced the Blue Jays twice already since joining the Rays and has been roughed up a little bit with both games in Toronto. I’m expecting better results (third time is the charm) for Glasnow pitching at home on Friday. His salary allows me to pay up for my high-priced stack and still get a pitcher with that once-in-a-career kind of outing.
