This is the smallest main-slate we have had all season with four teams on bye and another two playing early Sunday morning in London. That means the projected ownership rates will be more concentrated than usual on the top options. Today I’ll give you our ownership projections for Week 5 on the DraftKings main slate. Let’s take a look at the top five from each position. You may want to use it to make sure you aren’t missing out on quality cash game chalk play, or to locate yourself a contrarian stud like Albert Wilson last week.

Quarterback
Kirk Cousins may have been the runaway favorite to use in cash games earlier this week thanks to a great price and quality matchup, but as the game gets closer, the wind seems to be enough of a factor that we are now projecting Cam Newton to come in right on his tail. Beyond those two, who we expect to be in nearly 50% of lineups combined, Jared Goff is the only other player we see being in at least 10% of lineups. He is among the most expensive QBs this week, so many won’t be able to fit him under the cap, but if you are able, he may just be the safest play. Rounding out the top five are two entirely different quarterbacks. Tom Brady travels to Chicago to take on a defense likely to be void of Khalil Mack, and C.J. Bethard should be the top-owned value play at the position in a home matchup against the surprisingly struggling Rams’ secondary.
